Luke Shaw responds to Jose Mourinho

The United players were absolutely right about the finished one.

Just watched his team a couple of days ago getting dominated by a heavily depleted Milan side even after going down 2-0.

In what way was Mourinho proven right about Sanchez and Lukaku? He played Lukaku every fecking minute he was available and he dropped his most in-form player for Sanchez  he was absolute shite for us, get over it.

Mourinho was right. Especially about Pogba and Martial. But their fanboys weren't having any of it...their fanboys included Edward Woodward and the Glazers.

The problem with Mourinho was how he went about it! And when the board didnt back him summer 2018 going into the new season he threw his toys out the pram .

I would've respected him more if he handed his resignation that summer.

The money in football is so insane that resignations never happen anymore.
Look at Solksjaer he held on for dear life to get his pay-off which alone would set any person up for life, several times over.

Always feel vindicated when I see “you are ignoring posts by this member” and click on it (I can’t help myself…) to see they’ve posted another pile of shit.

Let’s ignore of course Mourinho was wrong about the likes of Salah and De Bruyne. Also, Lukaku was his golden boy at United so that’s nonsense.

As a side note, the Mou fan boys are the weirdest of the lot, slightly homoerotic macho/bad guy worship thing going on.

Someone suggested that post-Euros fatigue could be affecting the English players and I might agree with them. Maguire and Shaw were both very good last season, subpar this season. Sancho, Rashford etc also for us. I think they got what, like a week or two max off? Probably some truth in that analysis. Especially since last summer there was barely any rest either due to covid.
Other clubs in the Premier League are also in good form. So why is Manchester United the only club with this "tired English players" syndrome?

It's both funny and sad how people after 7-8 years still think Shaw is fit to fill the shoes of Irwin and Evra.

I mean when you look at the England squad for the Euros, a lot of them haven't been good this season. Some like Reece James, Kalvin Philips are injured. Henderson, Grealish, Mount, Pickford, Kane etc haven't exactly been pulling up trees this season.

Funny Mourinho still has people defending him as a manager. Dude is finished and has been for years.

He wasn't right about Shaw. The problem with Shaw is the fans and media hype got into his head and made him believe since he proved Mourinho wrong he has done it all when in reality he still has done feck all. He's a very good player, but was handled pretty poorly by the club, fans and media after one good thing.

Mourinho was right about Pogba and Martial though. Pogba should have followed him out of the door back then.

The Jose acolytes that still haunt this site are the worst of the lot.
Absolutely. Just bizarre, it’s not even like he’s remotely likeable even when he was good, now he’s miserable and completely shite yet some still worship him.

The only one that he was wrong about was Mourinho, apparently.

He was right about Shaw, Pogba and many other players he tried to sell

Sack the players not the manager (like has been for Stam, Beckham, RvN when they become toxic)

United “sacked” them not Fergie
It's not a dichotomy though. Sacking Mourinho was the right decision as he was the most toxic out of them all and he wouldn't have lead us to anything. Players should've been held responsible as well though.

I think it's mostly a case of Mourinho being a broken clock about Shaw. All the players are underperforming.

Yes but playing poorly is not a character flaw, and also not the same as unprofessionalism.
He's also not the only one who played poorly, if a team is struggling it drags individuals down.

id agree with you if it was a one off, unfortunately he has had one good season since he arrived. He’s inconsistent. Really inconsistent and his head drops when things get tough. He isn’t the only one, of course.. but he is now one of our senior players.

i will add to that, he’s a exceptional footballer when he’s on song. It just needs to be more often. It’s clearly a mentality thing with him.

Will never for the life of me understand the cult of personality Mourinho still enjoys in 2022...

He was box office and one of the best in the world at one point but those days have long passed. Rafa Benitez was also that at one point but he doesn't have an army of obnoxious fanboys licking his arse constantly.

Getting rid of them was one of the biggest positives from sacking him, no loyalty to any club just blind loyalty to one finished man

2022 and people still out here defending Mourinho. Wild.

Mourinho bought a bunch of those players

If he's such a great judge of character, why did they sign when he was in charge? Mourinho is finished. His stans on Twitter are really weird.

The Mourinho acolytes are truly something.

He was a complete and abject failure here.
