Luke Shaw responds to Jose Mourinho

Where was Shaw during the pens?

fecking prick! Southgate has already stated clearly that he chose the takers and order. What does Mourinho think happened they played rock paper scissors before each kick?

He's been waiting a long time to find something negative to say about Shaw, and when he finally does find something it's this

Lots of people on Redcafe were right about Lukaku, Pogba, Sanchez, Woodward...too to be fair.

Mourinho is always right when all of the people are wrong. That's Maths for dummies.

Jose Mourinho also paid £90m for Pogba, similarish for Lukaku and paid huge wages for Sanchez to be on his teams.

We all knew about Glazers and Woodward. Alli's been shit for ages.

Lukaku? What he had said about him and was proven right? He brought him here. Sanchez? Again, he brought him in the club. Mikhitaryan was average for us but was 10 times the player Sanchez was.

Why is a fan account even relevant? I'm sure there is a twitter account called LukeShawsLeftBosom that would praise him relentlessly.

Doesn't even know the man he's fanboying. Jose and Lukaku had a great relationship till the end. The blatant favoritism he gave Lukaku caused rifts with fans and dressing room. Who can forget the why always lukaku rant. Lukaku's inflated ego and displays of petulance fully took off under Jose. This shouldn't have been posted tbf. Obvious idiot fan account. Absolute feckin insult to anyone that remembers their parasitic dynamic.

Wasn't Mourinho who signed Lukaku, Pogba, Sanchez. Nope.

Lukaku and Jose, hands down the most toxic player-manager duo in United history. Jose destroyed many people's fan experience loading that dressing room with so many unlikeables but Lukaku and his love for him was one of a kind disgraceful. Damn well almost broke the dressing room. United fans are the ones who were vindicated on that one.

He was right about Shaw, Pogba and many other players he tried to sell

Sack the players not the manager (like has been for Stam, Beckham, RvN when they become toxic)

United “sacked” them not Fergie

I'm not convinced Jose (or Van Gaal, or Rangnick's assessment before joining) was wrong about Shaw. Jose could have handled it better though.

Too bad he was wrong when he decided to spend a billion on them.

except being shite this season. It’s like we sold last seasons shaw and bought a totally different player who isn’t used to the PL
Yes but playing poorly is not a character flaw, and also not the same as unprofessionalism.
He's also not the only one who played poorly, if a team is struggling it drags individuals down.

Mourinho was completely wrong on Shaw, even when Shaw was playing well I think it was around December 2018 or 2017, he barely played him. Gave him like one game a month, and the continously slagged him off.

And Shaw has been better for more than just one season, he's been largely good with us, just contending with a lot of injuries and some crappy managers (Van Gaal wasn't much better).

Someone suggested that post-Euros fatigue could be affecting the English players and I might agree with them. Maguire and Shaw were both very good last season, subpar this season. Sancho, Rashford etc also for us. I think they got what, like a week or two max off? Probably some truth in that analysis. Especially since last summer there was barely any rest either due to covid.

Mourinho was right. Especially about Pogba and Martial. But their fanboys weren't having any of it...their fanboys included Edward Woodward and the Glazers.

The problem with Mourinho was how he went about it! And when the board didnt back him summer 2018 going into the new season he threw his toys out the pram .

I would've respected him more if he handed his resignation that summer.

YEah, Shaw has been good for just one season is a biggest myth, he was player of the year in 2018-19 season too. Under Jose when he played well, he never got chances, Young was played ahead of him.

That was Fergie after 15 years at the club!

If Mou had been at the club for 15 years and had a one-off rift every few seasons, ofcourse the club would have favoured him.

And Shaw in post-Mou period has been among our better outfield players. 2nd best player last season, arguably the best outfield player in Mou's last season and even in 19-20, he had more than a decent season.
