Television Lost: Season 5

Ah well, the whole thing will be finished in a years time and we'll all know.

I thought the finale was excellent, and the series is finally starting to answer the really big questions. Just hope we're not let down by the ending

Interesting thing is the interaction of the "other guy" with jack, kate and hurley.

he appeared outside the island in the form of christian shepard to jack, as claire to kate and as charlie and mr.eko to hurley. he wanted them to come back but why would he want that ??

he also warned kate not to bring aaron back to the island.

What is Miss Hawkings role? She told Jack to bring Locke back to the island, which was how FakeLocke managed to exploit the loophole.

Also, how did she know when she met Desmond in series 3, that he would be the Desmond who was reliving time, and not the original one? She could also predict the future in that episode

Worth pointing out that Jacob made physical contact with each of the Losties in Real Life. Almost like Jacob was marking them in some way. Also did anyone else think that the flashback with Juliette looked really modern? Looked completely out of place compared to the other flashbacks.

Good read that blog, but there are a lot of assumptions and I have a feeling that it wont all pan out like that. Another question: Did Fakelocke meet Fakechristian when Ben, Lapedus and Sun went to Dharmaville? How could there be two?

I don't think they met. If I recall correctly Sun was speaking to Christian and then when Ben comes in she said 'He told me to wait for Locke' and then Locke is outside.

Hehe, someones been reading the lostpedia forums :D

Good memory - I couldn't remember. That suggests they are the same entity

Another thing is that we've seen Christian and Claire together so Claire is definetely alive I would assume.

We also have not seen Christian's body.

I wonder how long this guy has been manipulating the characters on the Island. I can't seem to remember, but when we first see Jacob's cabin the ring of ash was complete no? I guess the question is when was that ring broken? As I assume the ring represented some kind of barrier that stopped him from escaping.

So is Smokey this fella? Remember when Ben tried contacting Smokey and it didn't appear? They had to goto the temple to find it and if you remember Ben fell down into the tomb and Locke only reappeared after Alex disappeared.

That blog mentioned earlier suggests Smokey is a higher power than Jacob and his nemesis, and acts as a judge in their 'game'

I don't think that the Nemesis is smokey, but their connected somehow. Remember fakelock asked Ben why he hadn't told Richard about killing Jacob yet, and Ben said because he saw the smoke monster and "his daughter" told him to. This seemed to surprise fakelock.

Also, remember that Walt has appeared on the island (talking backwards). Is this just his ability to project himself, because the Nemesis can't be taking his form if he's not dead?

Not really, I'm surprised so many are giving this credence...I didn't agree with anything in this..."Basically there's a rule bewtween the Others that they can't kill each other....er...except for the two or three times they kill each other, but that doesn't count"

Silly Theory that he proved wrong in the first sentence and then spent 4 more paragraphs trying to explain..

Also there's no chance it will end with them all on the 'wrong' side, and it certainly wouldn't be 'the best possible ending'....But I liked his explanation of Juliets motives...

Walt was Walt, he has psycic abilities.

Hang on - there's more to Walt than that. What about the episode where Mrs Klu asked Michael: 'Has he ever appeared where he shouldn't be.' He has done that. I'm also sure there's more to the other's stealing children in S2 than we have been told about

Which is what I was saying....

The Walt story isnt being followed up though so we wont get an answer to him

Why don't you ever add 'I think' before things like that?

You're stating it like it's fact but surely you wouldn't be posting spoilers here, nor would there be spoilers for S6 this early. At least I don't think so.

there are no spoilers around for season 6 as the shooting for episodes hasn't started yet.

we will see more of her because the bosses of abc said so.

With Lost, Heroes and Prison Break over..and our season on Wednesday..it seriously have nothing to look forward to.

I need a shrink

Start watching a new show to fill the gap. I suggest Dexter.

He's a serial killer who works for Miami Metro Police as a blood spatter analyst. He only kills people who deserve it though like murderers, rapists, etc... Theres been 3 Seasons and he has to deal with stuff like stopping people finding out, while trying to track down a killer at the same time for his work.

The character of Dexter is brilliant and funny and I challenge you to find someone who has watched it that didn't like it. Great show.

so basically he murders someone every episode.

how is that entertainment? :nervous:
