......in what way?
 where do I start?

''No hattrick so he wasnt his best.''

Dreadful logic that

''Still too good for Madrid, he seemed to be playing well within himself''
More dreadful logic and assumptions. Messi actually played very well rather than within himself. Real in fact contained him far better than most are willing to accept. They defended better than I ever thought they ever could for the most part.

,'' content to let Madrid show how shite they are.''

This bitterness towards REAL is hilarious. Especially when it's this inaccurate:lol:

You can compare this performance with probably Messi's best performance for Argentina so far, against France last year which had sections of the French crowd cheering for the Argies

:lol::lol::wenger::wenger:

There's no comparison at all between what you put up.

Messi's best performance for Argentina, by far, have come at the YWC.

He replicates that at full international level, and he'll be put on another level to what he is now.

Honestly, you can tell it by how nonchalant he is about his finishes in the biggest games, two years in a row he's silenced the bernabeu and it's all in a days work.

He has a composure about himself you rarely see.

'The Bernabeu' really isn't what it used to be. Madrid are fecking shit at the moment. Barcelona, as a side, are levels above them, and everyone knows it.

Only people who haven't see more than a decade and half of football. . .

What's funny Spoons, is that every time you speak, those who think Messi's level has never been seen before, see you as a naysayer and a bitter person stuck in the past.

What they don't seem to realise is that the ability, heart, courage and game-turning ability Maradona had couldn't be recreated if you took the very best of: Xavi(passing, vision, execution, controlling of the tempo of games), Iniesta(impishness, guile and cunning), Messi(dribbling, goal-scoring, certainty and composure) and Puyol(never say die and all that)... even then you're missing Maradona's expert free kick ability and spirit/will to win.

To them, Spoons, you'll always be a naysayer because all the stuff seen in the true greats seems like pure fantasy and bollocks to those who never got to see it at the time and have no interest in investigating it properly for themselves.

If they were fecking shit then Barca were too cuz because the game they were leading on goal difference with the same points.

What kind of stupid logic is that?

Barcelona are levels above Real Madrid, as are Madrid over the rest of La Liga. It's only when they go head-to-head, you can see the gulf in class between them, or even when RM play any side in Europe who are half decent, and collapse.

I don't know what you're talking about.

RM have been exposed by Lyon and humiliated by Barca for 2 seasons straight.

This time, Barca didn't even bother to try after 60 minutes and just let Madrid burn themselves out, and they still could've won 0-5.

Basing on consistent wise, not just 2-4 games like your saying. If they were shite they'd be 6th on the table like some.... red duck.

It's about relativity.

The only rival Real Madrid have in La Liga is Barcelona, and they are nowhere near them.

because of the TV deal, no other side in La Liga come close to spending what these two do every close season. It then stands to reason that no other side can touch Real Madrid.

Relative to Barcelona, they are shit.

Yeah the feck right, unbeaten in the league all season but Madrid are fecking shit right, some of y'all stay clucthing your legend posters that you're afraid to give this man his dues. He's creating history on a weekly basis and could go on to eclipse r9's record this very season.

First it was Arsenal were weak now this? This lad decides big games on a regular basis, who hasn't he done it against, and best believe he's going to get Inter too, maybe then people will understand him.

They really aren't. They have been on a terrific winning streak of late. Before el classico, no team had ever accumulated as many points as both sides had after that many games in la liga.

If Madrid hadn't kept up the pace, that point total would have been seen as another example of Barca's brilliance and I think Madrid, much as I dislike them, deserve some credit for a frankly outstanding league season. They've kept toe to toe with one of the best sides in decades and are still in it.

So true.

La Liga as a whole is not strong anymore. The latest TV deal has absolutely destroyed any pretensions of parity.

They spent 250m Euros last summmer to come up horribly short, again.

La Liga was extremely competitive in the first five or so years of the 2000's, but it's just fodder for RM and Barca to collect points from now until they face each other, at which point RM get a raping, and the whole process is repeated.

Calm down, lad.... seems your close to tears!

Madrid are fecking shit? why? they had the same amount of points before the game against barca. That game was won with a goal by messi, and till that moment there was not much difference between both teams, in fact no one would have been surprised if Madrid scored the first

but messi did it

he played 8 times against real madrid and he scored 7 goals

was madrid always "fecking shit"? even when he scored three goals with a player less?

he's brilliant, and if he keeps playing like this, he might surpass maradona

Agreed

I thought Madrid were a pretty decent side, they seem to hack Barca alot better than Arsenal did thats for sure.

I still don't know why Gaga started, he couldn't get anywhere near anyone all game. He's one of the crappest players playing for a big side ever and throwing Benzema in at the deep end was some straight coward shit from Pelegrini.
