Installing demos on PS3

Anybody had a problem with installing game demos? I can download it but when I try to install it an error msg comes up:

An error occured during the install operation (80029564)

It only started happening last week. I can still download the demo and wallpapers etc. but not one single demo will install!

ps. yea I googled it and found nothing that would help so far.
 
I've had this once or twice before. I assumed there was some error with the file and re-download to the demo, it worked fine after that. Just make sure you don't disrupt the download in any way.
 
Did you delete the previous demo first or just downloaded the same one for the second time? It's driving me crazy, I have downloaded some of the demos for the fifth time already and it's still not working out :-(
 
I fear your only option here is to send me your PS3 for free. You see, this its first course of action once it has decided it wants a new owner. You find this annoying, but you don't get rid of it, so it steps up the game. Soon you'll be finding your household pets flayed, then your loved ones, and if you still won't get rid of it then it gets rid of you, and then... well, I won't give you nightmares.

Suffice to say, you need to get rid of that PS3 NOW, and I think I can take it off your hands. I have a knack with Japanese electronics; they call me the "Sony whisperer".
