Out this summer
Grant. Basically a coach
Ronaldo? This summer if no CL. Either way no long term here.
Cavani. Wouldn't be surprised if gone this summer
Mata. Should go this summer.
Matic. Should go this summer.
Pogba. Likely gone or overpaid problem.
Lingard. Likely gone or overpaid problem.
Jones. Was linked to exit. Surely gone soon.
Bailly. Surely out.
Henderson. Probably gone.
De Beek. Probably gone.
Martial. Probably gone.
All the above would be quite a lot of work required to resolve. Need top class striker, new CM x2, new DM and probably new CB just to resolve above. And likely a second GK. Huge summer problems.
Few more seasons
Heaton. A few more years as insurance policy.
Annoyingly there are quite a few players who could be here for quite a while yet. Maguire at least another 5 years, so that's 5 more shit years. Similarly Fred.
Losing Varane around then will not help.
Then there is a long tail with numerous players not looking good enough.
Lindelof. Better than Maguire at the moment, but don't get fooled into thinking he is good.
Shaw. Years of hot and cold form, but let's be honest he has never been consistently winning games for us. His crossing is not creating enough goals.
Mctominay not good enough
Rashford, time to get good again, but right now it's not good.
Wan Bisaka not good enough
Dalot. Jury out still
Sancho. Time to improve.
Greenwood. Retired?
Elanga. Young, but I'm not convinced at all.
So who is good enough and time still on our side.
De Gea. Plenty of years ahead, but still questions if distribution good enough in current game.
Varane. Plenty of time.
Fernandes. Good few years and good enough if get better players around him.
That's probably it. Huge money spent in last 10 years and yet it looks like a huge rebuild is required again. Very worrying. Genuinely might be 10 years to work through this crap. We desperately need some of our youth players to make it.
