Bugger didn't know, they went on sale this morning at 9. Really want to go next year. Anniversary and the The Stones are rumoured to be the main headline act. Anyway anyone else who can afford to get them and are registered, go to http://www.seetickets.com

£185 this year by the way.

Sites are all down as usual. They are doing the £50 deposit scheme again.

I've got to hope one of my clients pay me this week so i can at least get 2 deposits down. Just hope they take as long to sell as they did last year.

Got mine this morning, wasn't too bad as I managed to roll out of bed in time for the 9am release.

£185 is a generous way of describing it, it's more like £195 with booking fees.

World cup year, cant risk missing a massive game.

They have massive tents set up with huge big screens. As good as anywhere other than SA to watch the games mate. There was a class atmosphere for WC 06 and EC 08 games at Glasto

I got my tickets at 9:10 which is the best i've ever done. Apparently they all sold out in 19 hours which is the fastest in years. Although not surprising with it being the 40th anniversary.

Apparently we can expect 3 huge headliners next year one of which, according to rumour, looks likely to be Bowie.

Can't fecking wait!

Do people actually buy tickets before they know the line-up then?

Oh god yeah. You go for the festival not the line up. No other festival can compare.

And they've sold out. I won't be there then. Shite, I was getting some money at the end of the week. Gutted.

It sold out in 12 hours, last year when they started the sales this early it took a few weeks.

I think there may be some truth to that particular rumour. About 3 months ago an ITK muso type told me Bowie is 90% certain to play Slane Castle next summer. I shall be there if this is true.

The strongest rumour i heard was the Rolling Stones. They spent the saturday there last go checking the stages out.

Stones and Bowie, double shit.

Bowie would be ok but the Stones is a bad idea. They should try and get Tom Waits over.

I was too casual about this thinking I'd have plenty of time to pick up a ticket. If David fecking Bowie headlines Glastonbury and I'm not there I'll regret it for the rest of my life!

More tickets will go on sale in April (those tickets of people who only paid deposits and decided not to pay the rest).

If you're serious about going id keep an eye out for the resale date (this year it was 2nd April so it'll be around then) and make sure you're up bright and early to get tickets cos they'll go quick!
