Has anyone seen this and not thought it was shite yet?

Going to see it later

From the trailers, it looks like someone's taken Team America and tried to make the film it'd be taking the piss out of.

Heard it was absolute pox, extremely corny and done poorly.

Thats a very good way of describing it!

If you've read the few comments in the review thread about this you'll see it's not gone down too well in there.

I'll refuse to watch it just because it looks so bad in the trailers!

I'll watch it just for that nostalgia-factor. Its bound to be a steaming pile of shit though.

To be fair its aimed at kids isn't it? Ten year old me would be wetting himself over the film though.

Yes, to sell toys basically.

The script is bad, dialogue is laughable, but you can to see things blown up, over and over.

You know, if they'd done this properly, and centered more around the darkness of the weird doctor bloke, it could have been really fecking good.

As it is, it was gay beyone belief, though the Team America comparison provided us with amusement throughout. It basically is Team America. There's even at least two scenes they've practically nicked from it.

If one of them isn't the sex scene then I'm not going to see it.

No, the main one was in Paris. when the Eiffel Tower was falling, and there were loads of tiny people charging about everywhere while the GI Joe mob went about destroying half the city in persuit of some guy with a WMD. It literally had me in stitches.

I saw the trailer which is already too much of that film for one lifetime.

I actually for a moment thought it was a live action team america.

It has that great cliche: "A team who technically do not exist."

Oh whoa, super-secret-soldiers-in-none-existing-shocker!

I saw it, the highlight of the experience was the trailers shown beforehand. I did like Sienna Miller with the black hair.

Olivia Wilde looks preety foxy dressed as The Baroness. My mind is now going to a happy, Olivia Wilde + Sienna Miller place...

The movie was average, pretty good special effects I have to say though, the villain lady (Sienna Miller) was really fit, some truly awful jokes thrown in here and there, the love story was pretty lame as well . I guess the best scene was the whole Paris part of the movie but I could have sworn I was hearing "G.I Joe's feck yeah, here to save the motherfecking day yeah" sung in the background. I really hope part 2 doesn't come out because I just envisage myself watching it. If they do it right, it can be a good film

Exactly from the cartoons. I enjoyed it because I didn't go looking for anything out of it, just entertainment.
