One of the best sci-fi shows out there. And considering a lot of my favorite shows are sci-fi shows, it's pretty good. They even managed to make a good movie!

loved this show and serenity was great also, I think Aerial & Jaynes town where probably my favourite episodes. can't believe it got cancelled after so few episodes.
Someone just gave me the disks. It took a couple of episodes for the characters to relax a bit, and now it's quite good.
Anyone read the comic books? They're on the short side but the artwork in them is fantastic.
I'm not one for comic books. The Firefly DVD (and Serenity, of course) is plenty enough for me.
Good show though it could do with a more likable cast.
Also far too complex and deep in term of storyline for the casual Sci fi watcher.

I'm astonished that anyone would say a cast which includes Alan Tudyk and a space prostitute should've been more likeable.
Only recently saw the entire show and loved all of the cast. Great show, shame it got cancelled early.

Honestly, Battlestar Galactica just pips it. But that's nothing to be ashamed of.
Matter of taste I guess.. just some characters on Galactica that annoy me too much

Well it's nice to know that I'm not the only one that looks every few weeks to find out if they've brought it back
I have to say that Nathan Fillion's portrayal of Mal Reynolds is on par with Richard Dean Anderson's Jack O Neill as my favourite character in anything ever.
The whole show was great, I only found out about it a few months ago, but i've been converted. Own both Firefly and Serenity on blueray now.
