That you never realised he was.

Jurassic Park - He plays some useless computer nerd who has no idea how to run the security network, despite (seemingly) being the one in charge of it. Later, the remains of his arm also make a cameo appearance.

Seriously, has there been any film he's not at some point in, ever?

I didn't know he was in Coming to America until the other week. He's in it for about a minute as a robber.

And I also didn't know he was in Jurassic Park until about a month ago.

I used to think the bearded guy in Jurassic Park was actually Steven Spielberg

Goodfellas. I remember watching the film twice, and never noticed Samuel L Jackson was in it.

That pretty much sums it up though doesn't it?

Everything else was pretty evident he was in the film

He was in a couple of 2Pac films. Juice and I forget the other one. Maybe I'm getting confused with Bernie Mac in Above the Rim.

Anyways, what an actor, his performance in Jungle Fever is incredible:

he also, bizarrely, looks about 15 years older than he does now in Jurassic Park, despite actually being about 15 years younger

I was aware he was in it though, cos I used too spend my adolescence trying to smoke cigarettes like he does in it by never removing it from my mouth until it's right down to the filter. I got burned a lot

Technically, he was in Iron Man.

One bit of trivia about Samuel Jackson: his movies have grossed more money than any other actor ever.

Not really surprising when he's been in about 10x more than anyone else.

No, not surprising in hindsight, but if you were asked that question beforehand, would you have said Samuel L.? Perhaps you would, but then again, there's a lot of stiff competition out there. For instance, someone like Harrison Ford. He has the Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones quadrilogy, Jack Ryan movies, and not to mention about 30 years of other movies. Or Tom Cruise. He's made mega-blockbusters for over 20 years. And yet they all trail ol' Samuel L. When the question is posed beforehand, I'm not sure that Samuel Jackson would be the actor that would automatically come to mind. In fact, I would doubt it.

I think the bit about him being in the Matrix may have been an Extras reference.

Anyway, I've known he was in Jurassic Park for ages, but every time I watch that movie someone in the room pipes up with "I never knew Sam Jackson was in this"

God I fecking love Samuel L Jackson.

Serious? are we talking about the first one? What role did he play? I've never noticed him before

He's was talking about Lawerence Fishburne ... not Samuel 'muthafecka' Jackson. He was in both Matrix and CSI.

You're my son and I love you but you're evil...

Did you know the Gator shuffle was the impetus for a dance called 'The Harlem Shake'

On the subject of Jurassic Park, how many times has this film been on TV this year already?
Every time I turn the fekking telly on it's there, usually on ITV2 or something.

It seems when ITV2 show a film, they play it about 20 times in the space of a few months. Especially Jurassic Park and Terminator 2.

fecking Orlando Bloom is right up there, too. Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Carribean.

Frank Welker has grossed more, but he's a voice actor.

He's been in *clears throat* Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Dinosaur, Hercules, Mulan, Pocahontas, Scooby Doo, Tarzan, Transformers (original), Madagascar, Little Mermaid, All the Land Before Time's, Horton hears a who, Curious George, and a hell of a lot more.

But Samuel L is still the top actual actor.
