Are you lot playing a game? I got to the menu where you press ready and it sent me back to the dressing room :confused:

I think they're trying to add the Live Season update, it came up on my info bar at the bottom that a new update was available, then the servers went down and it was gone. Might be having trouble getting it up.

I think its the time, as lot of people go onlinearound this time, the servers might be running @ high loads. Not sure.
 
hey solius, i think we need to change our timings, ,maybe as more people have got these game, the more people have jumped online, causing a lot of traffic,also lot of people from overseas are jumping on Europe servers as there are lot of Fifa players and clubs in europe.

I think we need to choose a time slot which is not peak time, i guess lot of gamers are online between 9 and 12 pm.
 
Had a look on the official FIFA boards, the EA guys there have apologised and said they don't know why it's down at the moment.

I've just had an attempt at playing the 'long ball game' in an unranked match online :lol: i beat Barca 4-1 with Aston Villa. I frustrated the hell out of him :lol: the amount of times i got through one-on-one with the keeper was unbelievable.

It's REALLY effective, just pass the ball back to your back 4 then hoof it up to your strikers (use both the high through-ball button and long pass buttons), if you don't win the header, there's a 50/50 chance you'll win the 2nd ball. I'm not promoting negative football :lol: but, just try it, it works.
 
one of my mates work @ ea, he told me lot of times the expected load on the server is too high to cope up with.

Its normal, when these many gamers are online, this is bound to happen, hopefully it is fixed soon, but we need to get used to it as these will happen regularly once NBA live comes out,

Imagine these FIFA 09, NBA live 09, Madden 09 & NHL 09. All of them have expanded there online capabilities and its going to mess, i think nba comes out mid month. i know not a lot of people play NBA in Uk, but is still beleive that the problem is going to go worse then it is now. hopefully i am wrong.
 
Yeah it's not going to happen tonight is it...all in all, a shitty way to finish a shitty evening.

Lets hope we can get things going again tomorrow....night peeps.
