US rapper Eminem is to make a special announcement on Thursday (April 23rd).

The rapper will appear as a guest with Angela Yee on his own radio station, Shade45.

In a message on Twitter, the rapper said fans should “listen carefully”.

The announcement follows the publication of the artwork for Eminem’s long-awaited new album ‘Relapse’.

The artwork features the rapper’s face made entirely from pills. The album title is also designed to look like a doctor’s prescription.

On the label, the artwork says the album has been “prescribed by Dr Dre”, who produced Eminem’s new effort.

‘Relapse’ is released in the UK on May 18. First single ‘We Made You’ is out now.

Infinite is massively over-rated due to it being underground and cool!...the beats are atrocious with the exception of the title track and although the lyrics are very good he hasn't mastered his flow properly yet and there's never nay story or narrative to them...it's a poor album mascerading as some amazing undiscovered shit cos it's Em

Did you hear the interview? I haven't but apparently he addressed Asher Roth and was interested in his music and that he's glad he's taken it upon himself to dispell the comparison... good for Em for taking it the right way rather than being a childish fool.
 
I'm actually excited about this album, gonna be the first rap album I give a good listen to in many a year.

This is terrible, I think he should drop that stupid tone and go back to basics. Kinell that 3am is absolutely shite, lyrics are probably well played but feck.
 
XXL magazine’s latest issue features Eminem as the cover artist, who spoke on the topic of Asher Roth in his interview.

While stating he hasn’t really gotten a chance to sit down and thoroughly listen to the Pennsylvania emcee, Em did acknowledge the whispers of their supposed comparisons. “There was talk about people saying he sounded like me, and he was doing this and that and, you know, trying to take what I do and do it…The stuff that I've heard from him honestly, which certainly isn't enough for me to make my own opinion and say, 'Yeah, he does sound like me' or 'No, he doesn't.' But the couple of songs I've heard, I don't really think he does. You know what I mean?”

Showing admiration for the up-and-comer rapper, Eminem had nothing but love. “He's doing his own thing. I can respect it, too, because at the end of the day, I think he's dope.”

Swizz Beatz is doing "Stan 2" on this album apparently. I can't see how it will work, unless Swizz goes on something entirely different than he's used to.

But its an average lyric. Btw, what is fight music and its significance really? Basically shouting out abuses and inciting anger amongst the youth of your nation?

Then again i think little of rap music and eminem. Theres no music there IMO.

Makes the song much better, very visual and adds to the entire 3 AM experience.

I wonder if it gets commercial play, highly doubt it, will be in the same league as Superman was
