Elton John

Plus the Elton John thing.

I can see Elvis bashing out a chorus of Tiny Dancer TBH

He does have a few good songs. You're the One and Something about the Way you look tonight.

I can't help but think he is singing to a bloke, which is kind of off putting.

Elton John is a guilty pleasure that real men only enjoy when alone. Like Sol and Weaste and their dress fetish.

His songs have been rubbish since 76 and voice has been rubbish since the 80's.

I'm not saying he's the best thing since sliced bread, just saying he does have some good songs.

Circle of Life too, though I like that for nostalgic reasons.

Tiny Dancer is my favourite Elton John song.

A lot of his tunes really stick on your mind for a long time. When I'm doing something all of a sudden an Elton John melody pops up in my head.

Wibble is obviously a huge fan.

I do like much of his early stuff particularly up to 76 no matter how gay much of it is. After that I haven't liked much at all. The soundtrack to the Lion Kiong was a great soundtrack but not exactly truly great music per se. His output from the 80's on is pretty much garbage.

tumbleweed connection is a great album...as someone else said though after about 76-77 its all a bit downhill

It depends what Elton John you're listening to.....If it's early era Elton, then that's not just fine, but I think quite essential. He was very good in the early days. Your Song is one of the few love songs I think is genuinely moving and personal....has a great voice too, well he did, it's a bit hoarse now.

If it's The Lion King or Candle in The Wind, you are definitely a screaming homosexual with shite taste

Elton John has some great songs and is a very talented musician and singer.

Does liking Queen make you gay also? I think not!

No but dressing up in a Feddie Mercury leotard, wearing a stick on mo and screaming out chorus after chorus of "I want to break free" is somewhat suggestive.

Lion King was a great soundtrack, so shut it. Very sad film, too. Candle in the Wind I have never really been a fan of.

Most of the songs I seem to like of his seems to be his early 70's stuff, though 'The One' and 'Something About the Way You look Tonight' are both very good songs, IMO.

I went to see Elton in Vegas for my wife's birthday, he was shit.
