Elon Musk | Doer of things on X and sad little man

Its a perfectly valid position to have.
Do you think she was the only content moderator? Or that every content moderator was like her? Do you think there's no queer twitter users nor ever has been? Why shouldn't the moderation force broadly reflect the user base?

Personal insults. A great argument.
No worse or more insulting than your argument above.

"Man who thinks he is a woman" - insulting.

The idea that one content moderator was in charge of the whole of twitter moderation - a stupid argument, that was only made so you could laugh at someone.

Both sides of the argument should be allowed. Censoring those who believe you can't change gender was unfair.

It wasn't necessarily banning someone for believing that one cannot change gender for just saying such, it took into account who gets riled up & potentially or literally acts out v. the trans community / marginalized community. It was nipping the hate / belief in the bud so there was no more potential radicalization.

But did twitter ever ban anyone simply for tweeting "People born as males can never be females" or did they ban people who attacked others because their concept of the world doesn't allow for them to exist?

It's not censoring to suggest that someone claiming that, "A man who thinks he is a woman..." isn't exactly offering a reasoned argument on the transgender topic.

People's recollection is unreliable. Perfectly possible that both parents think they're telling the truth. You're in a room with your dying baby. You hold them and say goodbye. Over time the exact recollection of those traumatic events blur somewhat. Perhaps it happened the way Elon said, perhaps he merely wanted it to be that way. Bottom line their baby died. A horror. The exact machinations of the babies last moments should be almost entirely irrelevant to anyone outside of those directly concerned and certainly shouldn't be used as a stick to beat anyone with.

Yeah it's not a good look having people clamber over one another to weaponise this.

Drive-by comments. Not replying to people asking for a source. Given enough time to respond.

loads and loads of people got banned for this

It is mildly concerning that the richest person in the world is a complete psychopath isn't it?
I'd be surprised if the richest person in the world ever wasn't a psychopath.

I can't imagine many parents arguing about who did what to whom in such a situation. Says a lot more about her than Elon that she'd deign to make the distinction, and make it publically.
It sounds like she’s disgusted he’s lied about something like that, which she has absolutely every right to be. It should be no surprise that they have no relationship to speak of given their daughter has openly disowned Elon already.

Depends, if what she's said is the truth then how are you going to blame her for publicly correcting a statement he made in public?

So even if it were true you'd rather she kept it a secret?

I for one am shocked that DJ Jeff didn’t reply to this.
There should be a setting that stops posters from posting anywhere else until they reply to requests for proof.

Do you have any examples?

I think Jordan Peterson's ban was for something like that, but I could be wrong.
He made it a big stand, because the ban would be reversed if he deleted one tweet, but he refused to delete, ranted on youtube, etc (and has now won)
