Do individual mistakes undermine us more than a lack of play style? (New manager, same ol' rubbish)

YOu think this is a pressure position?

In this situation...Cavani shoots when a simple pass to Greenwood and he can swear it to someone for a tap in.

Sure not, but your initial post was about adding an additional midfielder, so I supposed you were referring to general play.
IMO easy, misplaced passes is the result of no confidence because we seem to have no control over the games. The second picture is a bad choice rather than anything else anyway.

I'd argue that Harry Maguire by himself cost Ole the job. He may have been the Premier Leagues worst Centerback this year.

It would have been blamed on management that the players arent taught positions and diamonds, triangles, patterns of play, hectogons and dodecahedrons. But that is school boy stuff.

Is that really the case though? I see players on the ball with no passing options, especially short distance. We just seem to be so stretched all the time.
Because we always pass it mid-long, when player receives the pass he's always under big pressure from the opponent. It's just very easy to stop us from playing.
Adding another midfielder will result in more bodies in midfield rather than forward. I thought we should've done this months ago, seems like all the managers disagree and the plan is to play 3 strikers no matter what.
We make bad decisions and passes, pressure or no pressure.
Some times we even play into pressure for no reason. Yesterday in the 2nd half Varane ran past Shaw into a congested area of the pitch. Then for some reason Shaw passed it to Varane in said area and we now have a CB trying to dribble out of position in a tight space. We lost the ball of course.

There might not have been any great options for Shaw but surely playing a CB in that position is one of the worst ones he could have picked. Last season Shaw was probably our best player on the ball, even under pressure.

At the moment the one overriding thing you take away from these games is a lack of a definitive style. There is zero cohesion between the players, it's so disjointed and looks completely void of coaching.

So I believe that is the overriding issue. However individual errors are definitely a huge problem that only adds to the above, these are increased when players are out of form and the team isn't performing though.
