On the contrary, the lack of interest in a minority stake is probably from the Glazers side. A minority stake does not allow then reach their objectives. They would still need to put money into the club.

Kept making this point when rival fans and media cried about Qatar owners, where were they when City scored 6 and did the Poznan on us? Did they lament the state we were in under the Glazers?

Here’s what I don’t understand, surely the minority investment would be priced at whatever the Glazers value United as? Why would minority investors agree to a deal that has turned everybody else away?

Think there bid is £5billion. Glazers want £6billion.
Don't know the guy at all but RMC are usually good.
If this takeover doesn't go through the club will be in big big trouble, could really do with it being done asap so we know our future is better secured

Is it 5b€ for the Glazers shares or is it the enterprise value. Doubt it's the enterprise value when their initial bid was supposed to be around £5b for the club itself.

I would personally rather oil money wasn't in football whatsoever. But it is. Not our problem
Everybody is happy to sit back and laugh when the Glazer leadership is causing United to get whipped, causing their stadium turning to rust and causing players turning them down for more successful clubs (mostly with oil money) who aren't shackled by debt. But as soon as there is a danger of United getting oil money on top of their popularity, meaning they'll likely blow everyone else away, people scream "unfair"
Bollocks to them. If Qatar come in and give us a billion pound to spend, that's a billion owed to the club from the Glazer regime.

It's a much higher fig in reality with inflation. Hard to really say what it is. 400m taken out in the late 2000s would build you an unbelievable new stadium back then. Now your looking at 1bn plus to build anything decent.
Why would they target the same players for PSG and United? Surely the two clubs have different problems and need bespoke approaches in the TM. Worrying that it sounds like they might bypass the manager too.
The one positive from yesterdays result is maybe the Glazers can get off cloud 9 after recent success and realise we are a long way off the top and they should actually sell.
Glazers defo got a bit excited about recent success and then had a reality check after yesterdays result and thought “aah, shit, can’t be doing with more protests and negative google reviews on our gymnasiums. Yep full sale it is.”
Not sure on credibility of the sources but timing of this again.. Probably appeasement or trying to protect share price but the Glazers need to f off before the season is finished.
Ofcourse it will, and I will imagine this will be prioritised by Raine group as they would get the biggest cut from a whole sale.
Joking aside, I wonder how much relief the Glazers felt knowing they can cash out at anytime.

It’s just I’m not interested in Galacticos signings. I want a coherent team that is greater than the sum of its parts. Erik is building that and I don’t want him undermined by players that don’t fit. We’ve done that, it’s rubbish!

Nah from the beginning it’s been reported the Glazers are looking for 6bln dollars, this was form the Raine group who obviously deal in dollars as do the Glazers but the media instantly jumped on 6bl pounds.
If anything, Pool hammering us may have pushed even more people to the
