Check out the track "at the bottom" at http://www.myspace.com/brandnew on monday.

This is going to be insanely good.

I just jizzed in my pants!

Was reading about this last week. Shit name for an album, but will be amazing!

It better be feckin' good.

Love Brand New when i'm in a wank mood.

Should be good at Reading if they play a decent setlist.

I've seen them twice, and was blown away both times.
I don't think Brand New have the ability to dissapoint when it comes to live performances.
Can't say enough good things about Jesse Lacey.

Here's a video from the first time i saw them live, the ending left the crowd speachless.

Love Brand New. Their albums are always really progressive and different so am looking forward to this a lot. Pretty much just been wearing the reflective layer off of Billy Talents new album recently, listening to it on repeat over and over so I need something new.

Agreed Brand New are unreal live, I saw them at GIAN and they completely owned the show. There were some big, old school bands there as well, AFI, JEW, Mxpx, but Brand New just showed them all up. Their playlist was all from The Devil and God though which was disappointing, but the performance more than made up for it.

Here's a little sample of the new song "at the bottom"

Some people are a bit sceptical about it, but its hard to judge what the whole track will be like as Brand New are known for building up songs from a catchy few notes to something epic.

Afternoon, main stage. Doesn't look too promising, but hopefully Brand New can pull it off.

So that Paramore thread has established I don't really dig half the suff you nippers are into.

Having said that, that clip right there was great.

EDIT: Mind you, I am drunk. And stoned.

I can't get into the new Billy Talent album, listened to it through a fair few times now aswell.

Lacks a 'River Below' or 'Fallen Leaves' type track.

Still seeing 'em in October though, top live band like Brand New.

Really? I actually think it is their best album. White Sparrows, Rusted From the Rain and Diamond on a Landmine are probably the 3 best tracks. White Sparrows is quickly becoming one of my favourite BT songs

Fair enough.

Aint listened to it in weeks, as i basically wrote it off.

Will give it another whirl.

Stuck to their sound on the last record, sounds decent.
Will be a grower no doubt.

Check out Jesse's new interview with Spin.com

"I'm just astonished at how much you learn as you grow older and how it never stops. When I was 21, I realized that I didn't know anything at 17, and then at 25, I realized I didn't know anything at 21, and now at 31, I realized I didn't know anything at 25. But it doesn't seem to be slowing down. I'm always wondering if when I'm 80, am I gonna be looking back to when I was 75 and going, you know, "That person didn't know anything?" When does that process of growing stop?"

Legend :D

By the way, I've heard these being referred to as Emo.

Therefore using this flawless logic, you're all emo's.

So any of you listened to new album in its entirety?

Saw Brand New at Reading, and despite the crowd being shit as feck, thought Brand New were pretty good. Played a couple of songs off the new album as well as quite a few really old tracks, from your favourite Weapon. 'You Won't Know' was fecking awesome.

Just listened to it for the first time and will have to reserve judgement... it's certainly different to The Devil & God... but I'm not sure if it works, will have to give it repeated listens and see if it grows on me

some very good songs on it but also some very.... odd songs and some extremely odd elements but that is just based on the initial listening so i shall reserve judgement, as you said, until i have listened to the whole thing more extensively.
