Black Ice - ACDC

It's party music. No matter what, the rhythm always get people moving and happy. If you find a niche, fill it.

Heard it. Typical AC/DC, therefore making it brilliant.

3 songs with Rock N' Roll in the title, good 'ol AC/DC

The only thing that disappoints me is there are no stand out tracks to be honest, there's usually one or two tracks on an album i love, and the rest i just enjoy because it's AC/DC. Although i do love Anything Goes, such a happy song.

Such an overrated band, they've a few good songs and the rest just use the same rhythm and style.

:wenger: Clearly someone who knows not of what they speak.. Listening to more than 2 songs might help..

Not a bad album from what i have heard so far, looking forward to trying to catch them on tour as the last time i saw them live was Donnington in uhm, 90 or 91 i think it was. Definitely a grower i think..

ACDC with Bon Scott were awesome, I'm still not to sure on this other guy, his voice is very hit and miss. However I think he's better then Bon on TNT.

There in London in April...I might go :D

Finally got a chance to listen to some of the Black Ice stuff. Feckin class. I'm really into it. So happy the lads are back to rescue rock n roll. I hope it brings about a real interest in getting back to the way things used to be. So many bands are just so feckin bland these days.

I think one reason AC/DC are rated in particular is that nobody sounds like them, and it's very hard for anyone to try and even attempt to. Another reason to rate AC/DC is because they know they defined a sound of their own, thus setting them apart from many other rock n roll bands. Because of this they refuse to reinvent the wheel. There's no need to. You just know the AC/DC sound. You give me 5 modern day bands that have their own sound where the listener just associates a sound with a band name. You'll do very well to give me 3.

Bearing all of this in mind (and believe me there are many other reasons) and reading your post above I'm pretty convinced you haven't got a clue. I'd hazzard a guess you didn't even take a second to think why you think AC/DC are overrated before posting your nonesense.

No go away....you have been told off

Is this the usual routine where I give you 20 bands and you tell me they don't sell enough records or belong to the wrong genre or don't exist or are too crap to be counted?

:lol::lol:

Are you born like last year?

Try listening to more than "a few" songs, yes some songs are basically the same, but listen well and listen more, before you come with a critic as "overrated band".

Needs oldies like them to teach nowadays youngsters how to actually rock, and not drench your hair, cover your eyes, wear lots of makeup and rings all around, sling a guitar over your head and pretend to rock on PS3.

AC/DC are probably one of the best rock bands of all TIME. I dare you to name the 'few' good songs they have and the 'rest' that borrow the same rhythm and style. Such muppetness.

I haven't heard Black Ice yet. I most certainly am not downloading it right now. :p

Neither am I.

I am not listening to Rock and Roll Train right now, honest :)

Aussie Legends.

Probably the best thing we've ever done, really. Aside from Rolf Harris that is.
