I flipping love this.

I saw it first on MTV2 (the original video's ace but has no sound on youtube) and thought it was brilliant. I immediately googled them to see what other stuff they'd released, turned out they'd been round for ages but I didn't find a single other tune of theirs that I liked.

Add your own one-hit wonders below.

They had more than one hit here in Oz but as we all know that doesn't count. This was their only US/UK hit I think.

Could you count "Men at Work- Land Down Under"?

Thats the only song I can remember by them!

They had 2 or 3 hits after that in Australia and the UK at least. Who can it be now is the one that springs to mind. That said if you don't mention it nobody will remember. ;)

I haven't. Was it Wendys? That add caused the final breakup of the band.

I don't really like that version of the song but I couldn't find the original.

I went to see this bloke live, on the strength of this one song. Absolutely beautiful tune IMO.

Turns out the majority of the audience were in the same boat as me. Most of the rest of his material went down like a lead balloon but a massive buzz went through the room when he played the first couple of cords of 'Elusive'

I felt dreadful for the bloke. Imaging realising that most of your "fans" only really rate one of your songs?

That's just silly I could probably name another 10+ songs by them...

Their latest album was absolutely brilliant, one of last years best:

Peter Lawlor who was Stiltskin - wrote the music and played all of the instruments for the original Levi's ad - has a long career in music, mainly ad music and the like. He wrote the current PL theme for e.g.

He recruited the band to play his music when the ad was such a hit to release Inside but hated the limelight and canned the whole project before the second album came out.

Didn't he also end up being the lead singer for genesis?

No. You are thinking of Ray Wilson, the singer employed to front the band.

Right got you now. I saw them in a gig once. It was crap. Me a mate and 5 other people. An entire audience of seven. Must have eally hurt their feelings.

I was at school with Pete Lawlor. He was 2 years above me and his cousin is my best mate. We also lived in the same place. Although I think that since the early 90's I have exchanged no more than 1 email with Pete.

So best mates then

I used to think Louise was sexy as feck.....still do actually.
