2 listens now and I think it's good. Not very good or average, but at the moment just 'good'. It's not had the same effect as when I had those first couple of listens to Whatever People Say I Am or Favourite Worst Nightmare, they were instantly etched on my brain and sounded fantastic - but I hope it grows on me.

Quality headline set at Leeds/Reading last night, great live band.

New album is a grower. Can't stop listening to My Propeller. Quality song.

tickets went on sale today for their tour, finally managed to get tickets for them at wembley arena, i joined the queue thing just before 9am finally managed to get the tickets at 10.30am, terrible ticket process, everyone seems to be having problems with it
Never was too into them.
But this is a great album, I love the almost psychadelic feel. It is an impressive shift in sound from a band who could have settled with their sound and made platinium repeats for their whole career.
Could be a defining British record.

I had the same problem with the ticket system this morning, managed to get on before 9 and it still said 20 mins to go at 10:40!! Logged off, changed to Internet Explorer, got back in the queue and was on in 2mins... got 2 tickets for Manchester
They wasn't amazing at Leeds, but with the album they deserve another chance! Plus the Eagles of Death Metal are supporting!!
