Can't comment on what it says, because I have no idea. But that isn't his depth chart for the China preseason tour. Martial is listed and he isn't even travelling with the team. Plus, he already stated the England players won't be participating.

I've worked for a long time in the design industry before making a career change, very used to having to work at high magnifications to work with images removing defects and blemishes, my money is 99% on Mata.
Then we should all be very disturbed and worried for Jose. Mata and Fellaini at #8? My word. Very unlike him.
I'd laugh my balls off if that is an old LVG diagram that no-one has wiped off yet.
We don't know how his squad functions in that formation, for all we know they could pick the ball up from deep and link up with the right channel, it might be more fluid than "ok you are deep therefore you must stay back".

You forgot the V on the left of your M.
According to that chart then, it would be a midfield of Carrick, Mata, and Rooney. Sounds terrible. I doubt Jose would ever do that. The person playing alongside Carrick needs to have the energy and to be more of a box to box midfielder, especially with Rooney playing farther forward. We've been through these experiments in the past with LVG and Moyes. Never again.

It's not a diiferent color, I'm not talking about the darkish thing, but the left side of the V at the lef of the dark line. And it's not a T, you invented the horizontal bar, you added an "a" and ignored the "e" at its left too. Basically you wrote what you wanted.

We are not talking about the same mark, I see the black mark, but I also see the one on the left of that mark. And if you are right he wrote Mata differently at the #10 position.
I can sort of see it, yes. But it's very weak if it's actually a horizontal bar. Looks more like an artifact: Compare it to what has to be artifacts "protruding" from the lower parts of both the lower case ls in "Fellaini". Not much of a difference, if any, in how they appear to the naked eye.
EDIT Per your interpretation above, you seem to think it reads "FeLLaini" - which is unlikely. It's not "LL" but "ll", which makes the "bars" something else.
