Dier over Alderweireld and Vertonghen is a strange one. Not complaining though.10/11. It sure feels like normal service has resumed...Very good side for us. Good attack for them though, very dynamic. Their midfield and defenders are pretty trash though.
Rashford back is lovely. Pogba on bench isn't huge surprise to start, think he'll slot in for Fred when he gets match fitness, but hes played like 90 minutes since September... so was always going to be a big ask considering our depth in midfield.We should be putting away this Spurs side.
I support the midfield choices. We need players who can start with a bit of urgency; I don’t think that’s Matic right now and we’d do well not to make the story of the first half about Pogba.
We’ve got genuine options on the bench, too.Makes sense having Pogba start on the bench, he hasn’t played 90 minutes for the best part of a decade.
Go with a team that’s been reliable in the last few months and see how the game plays out, if the opportunity presents itself give him 30 minutes.11/11 did not buy the 5 at the back "leaks"

Son & Kane aside it’s not a Spurs team to strike fear into your balls. That along with Jose-ball has made my nerves from today seem slightly unjustified. Here’s hoping my new found confidence is deserved and that I’ve not just jinxed the feck out of us.

Spurs back line is not good and needs to be tested throughout the match as they will crack.
United don't have much height against Spurs, so they'll have to mark up well on set pieces.
Why? Rashford didn’t have to earn his. Why is Pogba different? He’s our best player.Who was that said Pereira should start? Guy cant even get on a 9 man bench.The Spurs lineup doesn’t look too intimidating, but all it might take especially as rusty as everyone is is a moment of brilliance from Son or Kane.Really good team I think. The Pogba decision will probably dominate discussion. But who would you drop for him? Especially in a team against a big team? Correct call.It looks strong and so does our bench. Greenwood coming on to run at you for 20 minutes after being ran ragged by James and Rashford is bad for anyone.
