Firstly I didn't get not starting either Carrick or Morgan especially playing away from home. To be fair it's a better story than it was a couple of weeks ago where we just looked pretty awful ALL the time and just plain boring to watch. For the 2nd half against Liverpool and the first 55 minutes today we actually looked decent to watch, so a sign of improvement! I definitely agree though we need to massively improve the goalscoring.

It does not matter if he went for the ball or not, it does not even matter if he got the ball in the end or not. One simply can not go that recklessly in a tackle like that with your foot hanging so much above the ground as it could hurt your opponent. Football has no place for challenges like that, he should have been sent-off.
It's going to stay shocking with Rooney (who has blown hot and cold all of his career) and by that I mean he normally goes on a decent streak of scoring or not. When he's on fire he is quality, but his non scoring streaks tend to last around 10 games.
We've then got Marital, who've I've referred to a pub player on here earlier, which was an angry reaction to a loss.
