10/11 - had Schneiderlin in with BFS, and Young as a sub. Didn't see us moving Herrera back to the middle with Mata at the 10 and Young on the right but, gotta say that I like it on paper.

Still have Carrick and Fellaini as subs though. We'll see how that works out.

So who's right wing then? Or is Mata still there and Memphis is playing 10?

If our front three is Memphis, Young and Martial then, their pace, movement and flair will hopefully cause PSV a lot of problems.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Memphis playing in the 10 role to start. He'll draw CBs towards him in order to close down his goal threat allowing more space for Martial to exploit. After Brugge away, it's clear Memphis has good passing ability from that area, excited to see that again hopefully.

I love how (potentially) fluid that front four of Mata, Memphis, Young and Martial is though. All of them can play out wide so expecting to see a lot of interchanging throughout the game.

    ----------Martial--------
    Young---Memphis---Mata
    --Schweini----Herrera

Thats how we will line up I think.
Memphis was bad on the left wing last game, so LVG will put him back into the middle.
    VEry attacking lineup.

9/11. Glad I trusted the muppet inside to put Martial in the starting line-up.

8/11 bad for me in the leader board but I like that team.

Shite I just realised I'm in the same boat. My 3 subs are all on the pitch. Bet the 3 I had in for them end up being the subs as well!

Same with me although 2 of my subs started and I had Pereira to come on but he's not even on the bench :(

Not sure if this is the sheet that was actually handed to the press or not but...

Looks like Mata at number 10

Ander in the double pivot is a surprise and so is Schweini starting as he's played a lot of football lately. Glad Martial and gets a start and looking at the line-up I wonder if it will be Mata or Memphis as the #10.

surprised at Martial starting, but excited to see how he does.

Great lineup, makes me double excited to just hear that music again.

Brave lineup. Could go horribly wrong but got me excited.

De Telegraaf think we're going to start:

    De Gea
    Darmian--Smalling--Blind--Shaw
    Carrick--Schneiderlin
    Young--Mata--Memphis
    Fellaini

They've been pretty reliable on United news since LVG has taken over.

    Thanks for this post.

Surprising to see Herrera as a holding mid instead of Schneiderlin. Looks like he won his place again, like we all knew would happen

Schweiny is even more surprising given the game time he's had recently. Hope it's not too much for him.

I hope Ander plays well today, because if he doesn't I fear he will always play as a number 10. Which would be unfortunate because I, like most, believe his best position is on the right side of a midfield three.

fecked up my prediction. 8/10. I had Martial in the lineup but changed it late for Fellaini.

Still happy with the formation. It is the most attacking formation we have had this season.

The fans are happy so I'm expecting a Leicester-esque 5-3 loss

Last time I was this happy with a starting lineup was the Swansea game :nervous:
I remember having a right rant at my brother before the Spurs home game last year about how shite the line up looked.
