I just dont think this team has it in them to win the cup. Id love to, and it would likely prove to be one of the tougher fa cups to win (barring some shocks and good draw) which would make it sweeter. But this team has shown all season that we dont know whats going to appear on the pitch on a given week and I just cant see us hitting the level in 4 matches in a row that would be needed to win the competition, given who is left.

But they would not be in a row and that is why fluke cup wins happen, we might be utter dogwater in the league for the rest of the season but if we squeak past Forest tonight then we just need 3 performances in the next 3 months.

To be honest, it's near impossible to keep track of who's available currently.

    Onana
    Dalot - Lindelof - Evans - Amrabat
    Casemiro - Mainoo
    Eriksen
    Amad - Rashford - Garnacho

Expecting another dross performance and likely defeat.

I know I get that, but given the teams left it would likely require us to beat 3 or maybe even 4 very good teams. Have we done that all season? At our best we're as likely to beat City then lose to Leicester, as we are to beat Leicester and get battered by City. I just cant see it aligning. Maybe if there was less solid opposition left.

Let’s see if they are still playing for the manager.

Not sure how many of them still care about their professional pride at this stage.

We have already this fixture once this season so im not expecting us to do anything much tonight, we'll probably lose again.

    -AwB—-Maguire—-Evans—Dalot

    ——————Casemiro————

    ———-Mainoo——Amrabat———

    —-Amad—-Garnacho——-Bruno—
Maguire is definitely out, and Bruno is a doubt apparently. And I don't think AWB is fit.

Only thing i know is it's going to be a shit game of football.
Very few matches aren't shit when the opposition manager is Nuno Espirito Santos. Lost count to amount of boring Wolves v Man United games when he was manager. Was typical the recent Wolves v Man United game without him as manager was one of the games of the season.

He'll play a strong eleven but without any irony he'll continue to use "injuries" as an excuse as to why we are so crap.

An obvious BTTS and Casemiro booking bet for tonight, inevitable.

    Onana

    Dalot
    Lindelof
    Evans
    Amrabat

    Casemiro
    Mainoo
    Bruno

    Antony
    Rashford
    Garnacho

Name a "strong eleven" that will be available for selection tonight. Whatever one thinks of the current manager I don't think its an excuse to say an actual strong eleven needs to have Martinez, Shaw and Hollund starting and this United squad has little or no strength in depth to cover such injuries.

I just hope whatever team is selected tonight that United pull off the win regardless of the manner of the performance which I don't expect to be pretty.

Those that don't care needs to shipped out this summer, Jim and Co will be very busy.

There is a big difference between not caring and not been good enough, how many of our players bar Rashford are you insinuating don’t care? I for one don’t believe they don’t care.

Simply they aren’t good enough the majority of them.

If he starts rashford again he deserves the sack, literally just let anyone play, fat Dave from the stands probably has more go in him than rashford.

Edit: totally expect a rashford hattrick now

Here's how I'd lineup without Bruno, Varane and Maguire.
    Onana
    Dalot Kambwala Evans Lindelof
    Mainoo Casemiro Amrabat
    Amad
    Garnacho Rashford
You just know Forest will be energized with our shambles of a performance last game and come at us. So I'd be compact with the back line and 3 midfielders in front of them, have Amad roaming a bit looking to release either Garnacho or Rashford on the counter, without slacking on their defensive duties as well. If Forest drop back, then you drop Amrabat in the six and have an attacking front five of Kobbie, Casemiro, Amad, Rashford and Garnacho.

I'm afraid the press have pressured EtH into a corner of having to play Antony though, and he's also likely to continue his infatuation with McT hoping for another lucky goal. I can see him going for the lineup below and us struggling to get hold of the game:
    Onana
    Dalot Evans Lindelof Amrabat
    Mainoo Casemiro
    Antony McT Garnacho
    Rashford
I‘d go for that, except we could stick Eriksen in there in place of McT.

You'll have to ask Cee90 which aren't caring. I agree most are either past it or aren't good enough and a squad refresh is needed.
