“We are moving in the right direction. Once we have our best players back, everything will be ok”
that would definitely help

Robins could score goals.... Rashford ain't him. I'm not even sure our we've got an upgrade on Jim LeightonShades of 1989/90 season?
I don’t think we will rest players as Nuno has said he wants a cup run. The issue is that after the Villa shit show, who is actually in form. After West Ham the first 11 was nailed and looked good. Post Villa 5 or so of them had an absolute shocker. If we make changes it will be because of form. The only issue is Awoniyi who was subbed at half time. There is no talk of it being injury related so may have been tactical.Forest may rest players for this one. Having said that, still won't help us!
Just start Antony, it can't be any worse than the Fulham game.
Multimillion man United is finished and has no chance against a championship promoted team because of missing three players. Sad.Forest to win comfortably
United are pretty much finished this season now with the injuries to Martinez, Shaw and Hojlund.
But did you know ten Hag has a win rate of 60%? Only Pep betters that.Out of all comps in February. Yikes.

I'd say it could with him.
There has to be another way - somebody please think of the children
Rashford left, Antony right and... someone through the middle?
Someone suggested playing Antony at right back, which might not be a bad idea, tbh, then an actual full back (Dalot) can play on the left.
Can't fault Antony's work rate and tracking back, so, as a makeshift full back it could work. A better option than Lindleof, probably.
Never in a million years is ETH playing 3 at the back
He'd get found out against Elanga or whoever will play on the left. He works hard but has no idea about defensive positioning as a fb, would lose all aerial duels in the box etc. A defender as a fb would be a much better option. Antony’s right foot is also non-existent. Not ideal for a right back.

So, you prefer Lindleof?
It’ll be Hudson -Odoi cutting on his right foot - though Elenga and CHO do swap sides throughout the game. He'd get found out against Elanga or whoever will play on the left.

Antony and Rashford are two reasons to do something else for that 90 mins.
how the hell did it come to this!
As a right back? To Antony? Yeah. Or Kambwala.
The one thing that does give me hope is United didn’t seem able to deal with our speed on the break a month ago. I guess it depends on how we contrive to give goals away through cockups and set pieces.Whoever you pick I would have no confidence in Antony as fb defending them one-on-one, tracking their runs, competing in the air etc.
No Hojlund, no party.
I'll be raging if Rashford stats up front.
Who else have we got?
Right so Maguire should start up front instead of a player who has played plenty as a striker?Try McT up there, or Amad, or Harry Maguire, literally anything else.

But he is absolutely capable of doing it and has done before, Amad would get bullied out of there and McTominay would lose his ability to ghost into the box so he won’t score any goals.I'm obviously exaggerating with Maguire, but McT or Amad absolutely could.
The fact that Rashford has played plenty as a stiker is almost irrelevant at the moment. He won't play well up there, you know it, I know it, so why bother?

It’s hardly an unreasonable decision to start Rashford up top and imagine the outrage if he started any of those listed up top as we would obviously still lose.
Course he is! He is not in the best form but course he is capable of playing well he’s out of form, he’s not dead.Right now he isn't, and all it does is damage his confidence/play him out of form even more.
He was actually starting to do OK on the left and positively contributing, why move him away from there? We've now weakened ourselves in two positions instead of one.
Do you honestly think Rashford is capable of playing well against Forest if we start him up front?
