OK, I was under the impression the refs were given briefs as how to interpret the laws, and that was one of them.

Graham Poll on the new interpretation. "So the question of intent is now, did the offender deliberately place his arms in an unnatural position to increase the chances of the ball hitting him?"

Was definitely a pen, well put away by Rooney. I am actually enjoying this performance, we look pretty dangerous.. and the weird thing is that despite afroman and fat was combining to get us on the scoresheet, they have been wretched in open play. They're doing their best to sabotage our beautiful football.

Herrera has been absolutely brilliant so far. Best performance I have seen from him as a 10. Lingard just helps us look livelier and Martial does look dangerous on the right, have to give Van Gaal some kudos for that. TBF Martial looks dangerous from anywhere.

Feck just seen the chance. One goal and Newcastle could end up coming back and smothering us.. but that would be against the run of play. For once we deserve to be winning.
