At least he’d have let the tackle go as he won the ball, VAR is run by people who haven’t played at a high level and also who seem on intent on getting the system canned so they can go back to having all the power.Good exemple of VAR distorting a play. While I do agree that a player should be sent off even if he bounces on the ball, the impact at real speed is, imo, not enough to warrant a red card.
That being said, it was a stupid tackle from Casemiro.Still don't understand why Casemiro felt the need to tackle like that. You're giving a decision for these idiotic refs to make. Just like his other red cards, it wasn't unnecessary and with VAR, you need to be extra careful, even for things that are harmless
