    People here are a bit harsh. We've controlled the game completely, but we have a lot of players who haven't played together before, including our 3 forward line. There's an expected lack of chemistry but all in all we're in control. Only negative for me is Fred's final ball, we can't afford his poor passing. Bruno coming in the second half would improve us a lot.
     
    Elgana is so poor on the ball it’s not even funny. As soon as he gets it you know it would come to nothing. Getting James vibes here. All pace and nothing else
     
    Fred's passing today, yikes. Least accurate in the team aside from De Gea, with 70.8% passing accuracy and barely trying anything of any difficulty
     
    We have dominated and played well. Created enough to score just need to be more lethal up front. Our front four needs to show more. Feel like Haaland would have had a hattrick by now…
     
    We looked shite. Ronaldo and Fred the two worst players on the pitch. Hope we can pick it up second half.
     
    People are a bit overly critical today. We are the better team. Can we play better ? Absolutely but If this was last year, we’d be seeing a very different United. Our pressing has improved immensely. Fred is having a stinker in that number 10 position though.

    Pretty much the same opinion. God, I was going ballistic when Elanga wasted 2 easy 5-yard-passes in the box.

    There is just no way he can carry on like that and keep on benching Garnacho at the same time. It is pure nonsense.

    I was hoping Eth would be braver and played more youngsters. Are Garnacho and Zidane worse than what we see now?
     
    Exposed the second we need to take the initiative in a game. Almost feels like Ole is back. Still 45 to go though.

    Considering Shaw is not on the bench, so not an option. But i agree Malacia’s last two games have not been his best.
     
    We've been ok, but lacking quality in the final third.

    Maguire and Lindelof have defended fine, but their passing it about at the back has been pretty shit once again. Feel like we lost the ball many times due to their inability to play it out properly
     
    We're just the worse team with Maguire and Ronaldo. Simple as that.
    And Fred being Fred
     
    Ronaldo is not a good fit for Ten Hag. Should have been replaced this summer. He is so useless up front it’s sad to see. He can still be useful but not for how we want to play.
     
    Have to say, a poor half from us. Passing not at the standard to create chances, Sociadad aren't anything special but just look calmer on the ball. Not sure what can be done from bench but hopefully we improve.
     
    Fernandes on for Fred seems logical
     
    I actually enjoyed it a bit more than most of you. The intent to attack is there the tempo is fine. Problems are for the moment Fred who plays pretty badly And there is simply not enough men in the box, especially because Ronaldo keeps swerving out or dropping back. Bruno should be able to cover for that problem.
    Eriksen, Casimero and Elanga had a good half

    He has literally managed us for 6.5 games, give him some time ffs
     
    This is getting all a bit surreal.
    I know there probably isnt a manual for this but BT sport must think we are too traumatised to listen to a half time pundit or even watch an advert for washing up liquid.
     
    Energy is sucked out of the team. You can see how important varane and martinez is to the team. Also casimero is still building up fitness but at the moment he is not providing the energy that mct brings. Fred is just laughable in his position. But we needed to give players rest so its understandable. Ronaldo also energy wise is a big drop, no pace, not really bringing anything to the game.

    What an riveting advertisement for the Europa League that was.

    Some of our players really need a footballing IQ check. The decision making is shockingly amateur at times.

    Yep - A lot of the players haven't even played much. Not surprising there is much rust.

    Oh, so you think people shouldn't expect more from an elite DM who won the CL 5 times with Real Madrid, a 100M winger, a 30M/year striker etc.? The best player on the pitch is a guy you had for free after a heart attack (no pun intended towards Eriksen, I love the guy). Some expectations here are very low.

    Not having ads rammed down my throat on a service I pay for is pretty nice honestly. I'd take this chill music over Audi reminding me I'll never afford a brand new car.
     
    We're missing our starting centre backs and Bruno. Just shows how important they are to how ten Hag wants to play.
