I think some of you are not watching the same game has me , we have just spent 45 of solid attacking, attack after attack.
That is not the problem, the fact is at the moment we could not score if the barn door was open and some excellent Newcastle defending.
I thought apart from the not scoring we played pretty well.
We need to address the face we cant score.

That was fecking terrible. Have to be ruthless in the beginning of the game when we easily could have been up 3-0 after 20 mins. Just so.. Disappointing. Hopefully this means a marquee winger/striker signing coming in.

We had quite a few chances, wasteful in some instances, and unlucky in others. We played attacking football for most of the game and looked the much better team. Newcastle just played for a draw, 11 men behind the ball the whole 2nd half. A little frustrating but we're right there just need to improve our final ball and finishing.

Furious, bitterly disappointed with that result. Couldn't best a team with obertan and Anita in midfield. Could have got the 3 points if wed had a bit of luck but we should not rely on lucky goals at home against a team like that.

Lost the ball practically every time he went near it. Atleast he was trying to make things happen but it wasn't his day atall.

I thought memphis was wasteful after 70min. Shaw was tired throughout the game. Rooney needs to sit on the bench.

Edit - should say we didn't look that bad at all. Just need a prolific striker is all, and it was one of those days where nothing would go in.

like I said don't think there is much cause for a meltdown, I thought we played well.
A bit of luck our way and we would of won by 3 or 4.

Didn't like the Carrick substitution but at least he got forward a bit. Hernandez had the one great chance but Krul was on fire today. At least Hernandez was in position to try and take the chance, I don't think Rooney would have even been in there.
