That's what I said yes. He was only free in the box after Rashford was closed down late in the move and thats only because the CBs needed to cover the shot.
He has to run to the back post to bring the CBs across or back off for the pass. Either option most likely leads to a goal.

Utd have been excellent, nullified the vast majority of City's attacks and broke with real purpose and structure. Fred and Eriksen have been outstanding, Martial has been very good with his linking in the breaks and the only downside is the Rash injury and not scoring.
Garnacho would be the better choice surely.Rashy isn't coming on in the second half.

This is it for me. We are 1 top striker away from being able to go for titles and trophies. Someone like Van Nistelrooy would clean up in this team. It was possible it was only an impact injury and he could have run it off .

Haaland was worse than Martial that half.I know ball carrying isn't their thing but our playmakers are over relying on the pace of the attackers. There are times they could definitely drive the ball a bit further and committing bodies instead of forcing something even the flash couldn't reachWe haven't conceded against City for 45 mins, so that's a win in my books. I even feel like we could have scored at least one if we had a proper, quality striker upfront. But alas, it's Martial. Insanely slow and generally ineffective. Imagine if Osimhen was in his place for a few of those chances? Terrible misses by Rashford, hope it's nothing serious. Bruno hasn't been great. Fred, Casemiro, and Varane all good.- Status
