I look forward to United winning with 4-0 or 6-0.

That's how I think we'll line up. I would have woken up in a cold sweat worrying about Blind against Mané so we can count of our blessings he's gone, especially after seeing with Traore did to Blind with his pace.

Blind did very well against Mane at Anfield. He didn't get a sniff. But we'll probably be more open and expansive this time so maybe it's all the best.

I expect Klopp to target our flanks here, and start Origi up front. Keeping Pogba, Zlatan in mind, and the fact that Karius is not great with long shots and control of the box, I think Mignolet will start.

    ------------------Origi-----------------
    -Firmino-----Coutinho----Lallana--
    ---------Henerson---Can------------
    -Milner----Matip----Lovren--Clyne-
    ---------------Mignolet---------------

Firmino, Milner to target Valencia, and Clyne/Lallana will target Blind.

If liverpool play any open game against that united midfield, we going to have allot of spaces to exploit for Pogba, herrera, mkhi and martial to get in behind that very leaky liverpool defense especially carrick is just going to hold the fort, and that will have zlatan's lips licking with what he could do to that liverpool backline. The thing is we can really hold it tight and hit liverpool on the break, henderson can coutinho against carrick herrera and pogba, that would be a worry for liverpools midfield

I'll be shocked if Wijnaldum doesn't play. We're more likely to play a 4-3-3 with Henderson sitting behind Can and Wijnaldum. I think the front three will be Coutinho left, Lallana right and Firmino up top.

I'm still expecting you to beat us 1-0 or 2-1.

It's going to be a tough game. Very very difficult to win. Unlike how posters here are thinking of an easy win.

The best way to defend against pace is to stay deep and leave no space in behind you, we have to move our defensive line forward far more than that game at Anfield. They don't have anyone else with real pace to hurt us.

If liverpool try and attack us and play any kind of fast pace game, against that united midfield, that would be a big worry for liverpool. Pogba, herrera, mkhi, martial are going to exploit that, and its primed for zlatan. Their midfield and defense are the to be exploited, and our midfield and attack could really hurt them. Liverpool will have to sit deep, because they cannot expect to go toe to toe with the united midfield, especially in that 433 system they will be outnumbered

Expect a really physical game from United as well when not in possession. Zlatan needs to bully those defenders.

Rojo for Smalling for me. Rest the same. We'll see Rashford - Mata - Fellaini as subs unless we need to protect a tighter margin then I think Jose will bring on another defender to see it out.
I just hope he doesn't start Rojo at LB over Blind.

God bless Mou. Imagine going into the game with Moyes in charge against Klopp

Carrick, herrera and pogba vs Henderson, Can and Coutinho, we got something liverpool don't have, carrick, meaning pogba and herrera have more freedom to attack liverpool from the centre because carrick is holding the fort, meaning we can do a physical game, and press them back. Its key we getting the best out of paul and that's exactly what's happening. If coutinho not fully fit against that united midfield, we can punish them, that defense and midfield is not the greatest, and I hope zlatan and pogba drill that into the them we got the playing staff to overrun them, especially if liverpool attempt to play a fast attacking game they will be punished, if united turn it on we can win, if we not on our game anything goes but it depends how we turn up

Really can't afford to lose this game. Truthfully we need a win. Rivals are too good at picking up points

I actually think you can afford to lose it. Even if you do, you've still got four very winnable games in a run where some of the top six play each other.

At the start of the game it's likely to be 5th vs 6th. Hopefully at the end of it too!

It's going to be a disastrous weekend for the loser.

    Squeaky bum time.

Tricky game for both teams, an upset would derail United more than Liverpool here because you are the in-form team and Liverpool come a bit bruised. Knowing Klopp from his past, he will come with blazing guns but United won't lose this match. 1-1 to me.

Yes but it's not like we won't inevitably have to play in those big games ourselves. We need to send a marker out that we are a big team and that we are to be feared in these 6 pointers.

Unbelievable, this winning run we are on , and still , we can't climb the table :(

Have to just take the small positive week by week. If City beat Everton, we'll have to rely on hauling Liverpool's margin 3 points closer tomorrow. As well as helping them slip from 2nd to 5th!

I just hope the old cliche of a game I fully expect us to win going horribly wrong doesn't rear its head.. because I fully expect us to win.

    'Magine if they beat us.

Would be horrible. Chelsea winning today has at least pushed the double whammy of Liverpool winning the league itself a little lower down the chances though!

We need to make sure as well as obviously boosting ourselves that we take them down to possibly 5th, but a big 8 points off top.
