If we win the midfield battle, we can win the game. Fred and McTominay need to be in their best form today.

A win here could really change the mood for the whole week. Dont care how just win.

Read an interesting (and scary) stat. Only Gerrard has scored more goals in the P.L at O.T than Gylfi Sigurdsson (4 goals)

And his goals came in the 70th, 72nd, 77th and 79th minute - so if we are 1 goal up with 20 minutes to go, be afraid!

Would assume Rooney has more than both?

SAF was a big admirer of Duncan Ferguson as a player. I remember we were after him a few times. I remember on a program once, Fergie saying Scotland's Euro 96 campaign had gone up in flames for their refusal to take Big Dunc.

Same team that played City. As expected, but this will be a different game. Hopefully Lingard can perform even with less space today.

That bench... we really need some first teamers to come in next transfer window

Looks like Everton are playing 532, but with Iwobi and Bernard as part of that middle 3, it could be a strange set up.

    Davies the only recognised CM.

Not often these days I say "Gosh, that's a poor midfield" without referring to United. That Everton midfield looks absolutely bare!

I forgot to do the line-up prediction but it's a shame Shaw has just slipped straight back in so now we have no attacking threat from either fullback. The rest is as expected, although Greenwood is unlucky not to get in after bagging 2 the other night, he's sharper than James in the attack.

They literally have no midfield, what the feck? Even Sigurdsson is not playing.

Everton are really poor these days.

Sky clearly got the wrong information. Claiming it’s young Jesse’s 27th birthday. Crappy researchers he’s only youngster.

Surely we have to win given Evertons problems with the midfield.
If not it’s a bit worrying.

Judging by their lineup, they're not looking to play keep-ball. They're playing deep and hoping to hit Iwobi, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin and Richarlyson on the break.

Huge game this is for us. Personally, I have City in my sights, let alone Chelsea. I think Arsenal can take something from them too, and we could be 5 or 6 behind them tonight if we do our bit against Everton.

That's the best way to play against a United side that struggle to break down teams. That being said, we've been in the goals of late. Hopefully that can continue today.

If Lingard performs the same as he has been for the past couple of weeks, we will undoubtedly win this game by 4 goals to 0.

Yep. No reason we can't catch City as long as we're within eight points of them. They've got to beat Arsenal (snigger), but if they don't, and we win, it's only 5-6 points difference.
