I'm actually quite excited for this game. What with Herrera and Rooney out and the poor form of Mata I'm not sure if we have a chance of going toe-to-toe with Chelsea so we need to be solid and have enough presence up-front to challenge Chelsea's defence.

Rafael-------Jones---Rojo--------Shaw

Valencia-------Fellaini---------Di Maria

-----------Carrick----Di Maria---------
------------------Mata-------------------
-----------Falcao----Fellaini------------
In the former we'd play like we did against West Brom in the final stages when we looked most threatening. The difference being that and Carrick slots in alongside Blind to share the defensive burden and Fellaini is free to generally make a nuisance of himself, as well as to provide a decent target for Di Maria's deliveries into the box. Him and Falcao are easily our two best players in that respect.
In the latter we have Di Maria back in the centre where he's far more influential and capable of creating something from nothing. Mata's struggled in recent games where he's been unable to find space, but hopefully the physicality of Fellaini and Falcao up-top would force Matic to drop back to help out the centrebacks, leaving Mata with some space between the lines.
Either way we're going to need very good performances from Blind and Carrick, as well as our defence. It's also key that Falcao and Fellaini use their physical attributes to rattle the Chelsea defence. They're both entirely capable of doing so on their day.
edit - just realised that the first formation is very similar to @OJKernow 's one from above
