    I think the goalie picked will define who leaves end of the season. If he drops Henderson now that would be a disgrace.

    Ah yes clean sheets, the only metric by which to judge a keeper and definitely not one affected by any other factors.

    Give me a break. Did he let in goals he shouldn't have? Yes. Did he make any outstanding saves? No

    He's probably edged it but to call it a disgrace is an over exaggeration.

    McFred criticism is ridiculous, take Shaw and Bruno out of the equation, who doesn't warrant the same level of criticism? We have waited a long time for this Shaw and whilst people are jumping up and down for Pogs, how much have we seen of this one as he's about to leave?

    Isn't Henderson the new number one at the moment?

    Hate seeing a player dropped for a non-sporting event, but Henderson deserves to start over DDG. Let DDG play in Europa this week. A keeper choice for the run in can be made after Thursday.
     
    A bit nervous about this. I take the Chelsea-West Brom game as an ill omen.

    Chelsea - West Brom 2-5 makes absolutely no sense. Chelsea is in a dogfight for top 4, West Brom is pretty much finished. Chelsea had let in 2 goals in 14 games under Tuchel, then let in 5 in one game against West Brom. West Brom had scored 11 goals from open play all season, then scored five in a single game. Against Chelsea, who'd allowed, if I remember correctly, no open play goals in their last 14. What gives? I know football is football and all that, but there's a limit.

    I can think of two theories, neither of which bodes well for tomorrow's game. One is fatigue - Chelsea with CL and FA Cup games and then much of the squad involved in national team games, West Brom with none of the former and not much of the latter - effectively three weeks rest. The other is that Big Sam used those three weeks to do what no one's really had a chance to do all season because of the dense schedule, which is drill some shape into the team.

    What worries me is that Brighton will be in a similar position. No Europe, no FA cup and possibly not a single national team player in their squad, at least none spring immediately to mind. And I doubt Graham Potter has made less good use of that break than Sam Allardyce has. Not to mention that Brighton is a much better team than West Brom to begin with. And that they outplayed us when last we met. And that they've won their last two. And that we were awful in the first game back from the last international break (West Brom 1-0).
     
    Win this and top 4 is all but guaranteed.

    Which means we'll probably make hard work of it one way or another... But as long as we get the 3 points I don't care.
     
    3 points secures top 4 I’d imagine , I don’t think we’ll feck away it after tomorrow night. 2-0 win here Cavani is due a goal at OT
     
    Given our remaining fixtures, the home games v Brighton, Burnley and Fulham all need to be won as the other 6 games are much harder.

    However, we're coming off an international week with injury concerns over most of our attackers; and Brighton have been playing quite well recently, without always getting what they deserved - and so it's a potential banana skin game that I wouldn't be surprised to see us drop points in.

    It's tough to predict the team at the moment as there's often injury problems hanging over a handful of various players. Depending on fitness, I'm hoping to see...

    Its Brighton. 16th in the league.
    If United want to be considered as a team good enough to get a CL spot the this should be 3 points with a performance.

    Motivation is there with our rivals losing.

    If we don't win we are at nothing and it will suggest that we are just not good enough or are not mentally capable of being a team that can challenge for top honors. Or both.

    We are due a performance when it all clicks.

    AWB, Bailly, Axel, Williams, Telles Matic, Fred, Cavani are all fully fit and rested from the INTL break.

    Bruno had the last game off, Shaw was a bit part player, and Mason and Marcus had a week to recover.

    We should be in good enough shape.
     
    I see Ole has been talking up Beeks performances in training since the international break, I doubt it but could be hinting at a start for him.

    Ole will stick to his agreements with his players. Henderson cups, De Gea league. He'll decide on their future at the end the season. Remember Donny started in the cup as well when he was/is in poop form.

    Brighton should've demolished us earlier this season. Missed sitter after sitter, hit the post 5 times, blatant penalty denied and we won with a penalty given after full time. You will not find a luckier, more undeserved win than that this season.

    It would be foolish to underestimate them given our form against the likes of Sheffield United, West Brom and Palace. Brighton are scrapping for safety. These games are never easy.

    I think it'll end 1-1.

    You are overthinking it. Chelsea and Tuchel are highly overrated and were always going to slip up eventually. It’s far more likely they have just benefited from a new manager bounce.
     
    Not confident. Brighton have looked a decent side for most of the season, just lacking a cutting edge. Hope they don't find it today.
