We are a huge club because of our history. We have arguably the biggest name in football. Everyone knows Manchester United. In terms of performances & ambition you’re right, we’re in a similar spot to Arsenal from 2005 to about 2017 before they became essentially midtable. Top 4 seems to be the extent of our ambitions. Assuming we get top 4 this season I don’t think we’ll do much transfer business. We only seem to spend big when we don’t qualify for the CL.
It’s true. The new thing I keep seeing from posters is that Ole doesn’t actually coach anyway (he tells his coaches what to do). So basically he’s skipped the SAF hard graft years and trophies and basically become SAF post Quieroz’ return already. Seems very odd if true.

We have a pattern of play. We build up the pitch, get the ball outside the box, then do a weird little chip in and hope for the best. We’ve done it loads of times today for some reason, Brighton’s centre backs must be loving it.
If we ever get a manager who has actual standards, Rashford will be out the door so fast...
Statistically there are very few players in world football who do as little as he does off the ball - pressing, defensive contribution etc.
If we ever get an actual manager - especially a modern one, who presses and plays a front-foot game - they won't accept his effort level.

I’d love to see him playing for a Guardiola team though. I know Rashford has everything to be brilliant. He would be better than Sterling or Mahrez in their side. Yet again though we don’t coach him to use his gifts most effectively.You should be allowed to punch someone when they drag you back.
That's a rule I'd bring in.
Really good coach Potter, did well at Swansea as well. They don’t win loads of matches, but given the average quality of their players he gets them playing entertaining football. Whenever they’re playing a top six side I always feel they make a decent go of it.
He got his assist in earlier blocking Fred off.
