I expect the counter argument to that would be that Ole is not really a coach (he's the 'manager') and that because he "gets United", he therefore has some kind of force multiplier effect that more than makes up for his tactical deficiencies.

Personally, I don't see it and never have.

So far our tactics appear to mainly be move the ball too slowly. Hope Pogba or Bruno can play a miracle through ball. Or hope Greenwood, Rashford or Shaw can dribble past three players.

Pogba/Fred is our worst possible midfield combination. Against Brighton's narrow wide men, it's making us incredibly easy to play against. We can't defend and we can't attack.

Literally any other midfield two would have been better.
