I'd honestly rather not be in Europa. Needless distraction. We aren't good enough to win it anyway.

Yeah well I don't think the club see it that way, and I think they're right not to.

maybe its a stupid question but can the teams change the lineup today or they have to play with the official lineups they gave hour before the game on sunday.

Such a pointless game, now that it's confirmed no matter the result, top 4 is out of reach. What infuriates me is all we needed was a draw against West Ham and we would have secured top 4 with a win today, yet we lost that game, after a 2-1 lead.

I'm actually glad we'll have a largely full strength side, more to keep the players ready for the final. One useless match for the youth players does nothing for them. I'd only keep Martial out because, let's be honest, he's virtually our whole attack anyway. Nobody cares, get a 1-0 Rooney penalty and call it a day

It was the game of the season and they bottled it in the worst possible way. I'm still annoyed about it! Plus, it would have been City and Pep without CL, would have been too good.

Also with a different manager, some additions and a different attitude to football, we might be good enough.

Yeah definitely. The team is not without promise. And Liverpool, who finished 8th in the PL, are favourites to win it this year and qualify for the CL as a result. Would appear to be a very bad idea not to take this game seriously.

    Priority 1 - Avoid injuries

Priority 2 - Avoid picking up any slight knocks

Priority 3 - Avoid picking up niggles of any kind

    Priority 4 - Don't lose.

You just know we're going to do the complete opposite of all of them

Do Sky typically show the end of season speech/lap of honour? They don't usually show fairly meaningless end of season game but interested in what LVG says/does

Really can't be bothered to watch this match. Thanks for the memories LvG

Does the side need to be the exact same as what was set for Saturday? Seems silly he hasn't made changes otherwise.

What would be a huge surprise is if LVG puts out a team with 4 strikers and states clearly that the aim is not score not 1 goal (as normal), but 20!!!

First United match in a very very very long time I'm not watching. Sick to death of our league campaign under LVG.

Really looking forward to tonight's game - not been this excited in a long time. Tonight will see the efforts of the much derided Woodward and Van Gaal come to fruition. Ed's genius in getting Sunday's match called off will prove to be £3m well spent, as Professor Louis can perfect his tactics, knowing exactly what score we need to qualify for the Champions League and the subsequent riches that accompany qualification. Bournemouth will come expecting the usual boring possession play, but United will be let off the leash, with instructions from LVG to take risks and to shoot on sight. With our strikers achieving the near 100% conversion rate demanded by LVG, we only need 20-25 shots to meet our target of a 19-0 win tonight. Blue Moon will be in meltdown. Now pass me some more Amsterdam cake please.

Bournemouth could not show up and we'd spend the match passing it between Blind, Smalling and De Gea and grind out a 0-0. It will be interesting to see how many fans show up, I was there on Sunday but couldn't make tonight. Half empty at best I imagine.

Also the last time we lost out on goal difference to City we could have won the title winning the last game against Sunderland 9-0 I think it was but we only managed 1-0. We're at home though this time so should be easy.

Not even that. I think the statury score for a no-show is 3-0.

0-0 draw with 1 shot on goal and 60+% posession would be the perfect way to cap this season for me. I'm still not decided if I should watch this or not. I'm still very annoyed by the west ham loss and the fact that LvG is still in charge, when he should've been fired in december already.

I'm definitely going to watch this in a hope I see some crowd unrest, even if we are winning voices should be heard demanding him be gone. I know we still have a game but this is our last home game and the fans need to let him know he has been a miserable failure. Everyone then needs to get behind the players at Wembley.

As for the game it will probably be shit.

I will admit that Sunday's debacle (concocted by Woodward and LVG), was genius.
We now know that we need to win the game by 19 goals.

The entire season of boring football, side/back passing, high possession, low scoring was just a way to lull our opponents into believing that we really do play like this.
Today, for the first time ever, LVG shall unleash our team and break the record for the most amount of goals scored in a single match.
    LVG is truly a genius.

I think everything should be cleared out tonight when LVG starts addressing the fans, it's either "See you next season" or "Thank you for your patience".
