    We certainly won't get many chances, they're not soft like Spurs and will make it very difficult.

    Think we'll need Sancho to show something special for us to create much at all.

    Especially as we could draw any of ajax, Benfica, Villareal, juventus, Chelsea, Real Madrid....
     
    Do we know if Sancho is fit for this? I remember him limping and holding his groin at the end of the spurs game

    Exactly.

    The only teams you should be really be scared of are Bayern, City and Liverpool (Probably Chelsea too but let's see how they look in a couple of weeks).

    Of those 3 the only ones who will be "Happy" to draw you will be Bayern ( and even then they would prefer nearly all of the others you listed bar Chelsea) because for the other two losing to you in the champions league would be a total disaster.

    Those fan bases want you out mainly so they don't have to deal with you in the next round, banter is secondary.

    Happy with that line up, looks like a 4-3-3… I’d of probably started pogba over Fernandes though just because he offers a bit more in terms of height and physicality. Front 3 should create enough and score.
     
    That’s good barring Maguire. Would’ve preferred Lindelof . But still quite good. Pogba and Cavani are good options from the bench
     
    Not sure on Maguire but the rest of the team is about as good as you could've hoped for
     
    Need mctominay to turn up and help out
    Also a game where we can't keep giving the ball away, bruno needs to be sensible

    Pogba and Rashford deservedly benched. Would have preferred Lindelof over Maguire though.
     
    That lineup is probably our best XI, other than Pogba arguably. Hoping for a good performance and another memorable CL night (for the right reasons)

    In the Euros there was a rule that you had to include two goalkeepers on the bench. Maybe the CL is the same? I can't be bothered to look at any other team's bench to find out though.
     
    Felix and Griezmann could easily tie Maguire in knots here. If he can't stand on the fecking penalty spot and head crosses away, he doesn't have a purpose.

    Would feel a lot more confident with Lindelöf here.
