Makes no sense. Ronaldo was benched without hesitation, showing that Ten Hag doesn't care about any of that. Why wouldn't he throw in Ronaldo over Rashford? Why wouldn't he throw in Garnacho, now? Because it is a narrative that people have built up in their heads that he is lazy.
