Nothing new really. Attempted to press a bit, not really very well. Couldn’t pass a ball 5 feet without giving it away. So the pressing didn’t make much of a difference when you give it back.

It's not hard to do. It's not like it's some secret to who each players man is. So pick him up. But I don't think it's the players. I think this is how they are told to press and it makes absolutely no sense...Good point. Very lucky but I was thinking they’d thump us.
Outside of set pieces and the counter at the end they didn’t create too much clear cut stuff for most of the game. We stifled them for the most part which is a huge improvement on the Liverpool/City fiascos.
The midfield showed they can press effectively individually but it clearly needs work as a collective. They were just lost in the transitions but that will improve with coaching. Bruno was shocking on the ball but he directed the press well.
A good game for Ralf to see our weaknesses. There’s no redeeming AWB. He’s not good enough on the ball for all his tackling ability he’s too rash defensively. Recall Laird ASAP and sign someone in January. The modern systems are so reliant on good full back play and ours is definitely in the bottom tier of the league.
Some positive signs but it also showed how far away we are. Hopefully Ralf is everything he’s supposed to be.
