Yeah, team selection seems fine, but those may happen. Likely its 4-5-1 deep. If Mata is playing as CM or even CDM, would much rather Fred/Pereira there.

I want to say Hull. It was against someone in yellow/gold and there was another game he did it for 15 minutes or so but I think one of them got injured and that was the end of that. Roll them dice Jose ....we need some luck.My conspiracy theory is: Jose knows he’s going to get sacked sooner rather than later so he wants to maybe save his job by attacking and pleasing the fans.
He knows that the fans will stick with him if we are attacking teams. He isn’t a stubborn man and today proves that. I don’t want Jose as our manager but he deserves credit for at least trying to change things rather than doing the same thing game after game.

Unless we are playing Mata in a central attacking role, then it is a huge mistake to select him (and a mistake that Jose keeps making). Picking Matic is questionable given his recent poor form and rumours of an injury knock. With him and Mata making up 2/3rds of the midfield, I have a serious concern about the midfield battle. Fred and/ or Perreira would add far more energy
Not much he can do at Central Defence, but I'm unhappy with Young's selection at RB over Dalot. We may not see a lot of the ball today and will see even less with Young's unacceptable lack of compsure (i.e. he hoofs it too much).
The front 3 is a sensible selection given the air miles that Sanchez racked up this week, but Jose will be making a mistake if he is deploying Lukkaku as a target man. We've seen time and again that he cannot perform his function - him playing off the right could be interesting though
Biggest issue for me is the selection of Darmian on the bench. He may as well stick a bag of cement on the seat as they guy offers nothing to the team. That spot could be going to an academy player who could offer something different and inject some hope in this poor season. Instead Jose is choosing to select a 'veteran' who has failed to achieve mediocracy in his long time with is - what purpose does his place in the match day squad serve?
The overall theme for me is that this squad selection appears to show Jose making the same mistakes yet again. Hope he gets a result today, but if not, I want him gone. Needs to be in before he can be dropped.Jose has gone with attacking lineup but the interplay and creativity has been totally lacking and our strikers are not good at taking their chances sadly.
