I've been watching the same half as most on here, he's lost what made him great, he looks so slow now and also wasn't the point of my main post.

Sancho & Bruno have been absolute dross, it's great having Martial hold it up for us to do nothing with.

They have their left side locked down so there's no outlet to Antony & AWB, bring on Garnacho for all the space Sancho & Martial are failing to exploit.

Then I'll judge Martial since he's had such a good half

Same issues as always. Absolutely dominated and played some lovely stuff for the first 30m or so, but it all breaks down near the edge of the box due to us not having a proper striker. We can't kill games because we can't score. If we had a proper striker this game would be 3-0 by now.

The performance has been good in the first half and hopefully we'll kill the game by adding a second goal. Bournemouth are crowding our right-side out with space opening up on our left for Sancho, Martial and Shaw.

Bruno has looked poor because there is absolutely no movement ahead of him. Literally nobody is even trying to create space or make a run. How can we look that disinterested given what is on the line? Don't understand it at all.

An actual incisive performance second half would be nice for a change.

Feels like Martial gets in his way because he hogs the ball and doesn't occupy the striker spaces.

Maybe they should switch and Bruno should make the runs in the box

I'm confident Garnacho will improve our attack when he comes on for Sancho. Bruno has been poor too, need him to up his levels since we rely on him almost exclusively for our creativity. Bournemouth have made it easy for us but we've not taken advantage the way we should have. It's been a poor performance from us despite what the possession stats might suggest on paper. The more telling stat is how similar both teams' shot numbers are despite Bournemouth themselves clearly being on the beach
