We are in trouble. Eriksen midfield is going to be tough.Midfield might be overrun today.Big mistake not to start with Fred, in my opinion. We saw how Fred much nullified De Bruyne. I believe Odegaard deserves the same amount of respect based on this season.I would have went with Fred over McTominay i have a bad feeling about this game.

My guess is some posters were trying to wish a Martinez in midfield lineup into existence and are just disappointed.McTom did have a good short run with ETH on our comeback after the first two games of the season. I would've liked Fred but really they're just as bad as each other overall. Perhaps Fred can help when Eriksen gets tired.
Martinez in midfield would be too much of a risk to start now away to the leaders, we should've done it during other games to see how it looked with Shaw impressing at CB.I thought we’d set up more defensively than that.
