Leicester City Football Club (nicknamed The Foxes, The Blues, City, and Blue Army), are a professional football club based in Leicester. Leicester City was founded in 1884 by a group of old boys of Wyggeston School as Leicester Fosse, before joining the Football Association in 1890. In 1919, when League football resumed after World War I, Leicester Fosse ceased trading due to financial difficulties of which little is known. The club was reformed as Leicester City Football Club, particularly appropriate as the borough of Leicester had recently been given city status.

Leicester City have enjoyed moderate success through the years - winning 3 League Cups, and reaching the final of the FA Cup 4 times - prior to their odds-defying Premier League title win in 2015/16. Leicester City's most prominent rivals are Nottingham Forest, Coventry City and Derby County, and they have been playing their home games at The King Power Stadium (originally named Filbert Way) since 2002.

3 weeks until the next game. That's depressing. Wish it was 3 years.

Yes, another chance to see Maguire and Rashford absolutely stink the place up whilst Bruno moans to everyone at OT.

Honestly could not give a shite, just want the season to end, players to feckoff and to have time to mentally prepare for another shocking season to come.

    The game itself. 1-1

Please. For the love of god.

    Do not. Start. Marcus. Rashford.

Who are England playing in the international break?

Looking forward to captain, leader, legend answering the critics and running around cupping his ears after heroically doing a goal against the mighty Uzbekistan or whoever.

Good luck motivating this lot for the rest of the season.
Yeah, I said before the game tonight that if we lost these players will likely down tools. No chance they're going to bother to play 9 games of a finished season for an interim boss.

Only saving grace would be those who'd want to get a look in for their respective World Cup squads, but a lot of those (Pogba, Maguire, Rashford, Shaw) would probably still make their national squads by default.

If we could concede the league tonight and finish 8th now I'd take it. The Glazers have ruined this club. There's no way back now until it's sold. They haven't got a clue what they are doing.

    -----------------------de Gea
    Dalot----Lindelof---Varane----Telles
    ---------------------Matic
    --------------Fred--------Mejbri
    Elanga-----------------------------Sancho
    ------------------------?

    Garnacho on the bench.

Arsenal dismantled these pretty easily. You know that’s not going to be the case when they come to old Trafford.

I got news for you buddy, we conceded the league many years ago.
When Jose was not backed in his final Summer, it became clear that 4th place was the target.
Since then we have not hired a "win at all costs" manager. Instead, we have hired "yes men" who will do as they are told.
Conceding the league is something that I can see happening every single year, while the Glazers are here, aiming for 4th.

Nothing to play for, seriously considering not even watching the rest of the season.

What a depressing end to a season that started with such optimism.

    See ya in August, lads.

On vacation in the Bahamas at that time and certainly won’t be wasting my well-earned break with this shower of shite.

You have interpreted what I said wrong. I didn't mean concede the league title. I meant just concede the league finish.

I'd happily take 8th and no European football next season which would allow us to trim the squad massively.

Why the two week delay in matches, I’m guessing one’s FA Cup but why the other?

I am torn between continuing following them, or stopping here for the season.

Arsenal have still 3 games to play... Incredible to say that they will be ahead of us... How poor we are.

Easy match. Any other team in the Premier League and most of the teams in the Championship would defeat this Leicester team.

    0-1 to Leicester.

    Probably a draw.

Will of course still be watching but this is the first time I can remember not being arsed about an International break. Even when we’ve had big defeats you still want a game as soon as possible to get over the last defeat but last night’s exit really confirmed the lack of joy watching this team.

    The players have checked out!

    Fans have checked out!

Rest of the season is Misery Hotel.

    There is always Next season!

Arsenal to lose their next 2 PL games.
It’s the hope that kills you!

Please. For the love of god.

    Do not. Start. Harry. Maguire.
The man management of Maguire has been so bad. Week after week he's been scrutinised and pressured, and yesterday there was even a point where he was gesturing and talking to himself. He should have been protected and rested a long while back. He should not be playing.

So long to stew on exiting the CL

They're shit, we're shit. They'll probably rest a load of players for their Conference League exploits and we'll still conk out after 50 minutes or so.

    I'm all for it.

Wrap him up in bubble so he doesn't hurt himself and storage him. Somewhere cool and dry.

    Newcastle sounds great.

A gritty 2-1 win here, break coming at a good time for once.
Badly need to regroup, a reset in attitude.

Simply can't drop points here, LCFC are terrible compared to recent years.

We have nothing to play for really. So Rangnick would be wise to pick players who are part of the future of Man United and basically start excluding the guys who won't be here next season and need "season targets" to be motivated. In saying that, I'm not entirely sure who should be left out that wasn't left out yesterday. Ronaldo will be gone but we have no other replacement, so I guess he plays?

Geez guys have some faith. I know it's hard but never stop believing.
We get knocked down but we get up again! Can see us battering the Leicester defense and getting away shot after shot at the goal. We'll dominate possession and the attack and then totally sneak in a 1-0 loss...

We should be playing as strong a side as possible until its mathematically impossible to finish top 4. Anything other than that is nonsense.
