VAR and Refs | General Discussion

He’s onside from the one view and a yard offside from the other view

No penalty despite people hugging, wrestling and pulling eachother at corner kick.

Only against us. Only.

Are they going to avoid 2 red cards ?

In case you didn’t notice there are many people who don’t understand geometry as much as you obviously do.

I understand his point…but the gap between the ball and the line was much greater on the weekend with the camera angle given. don’t know if it was in or not, but the gap looked massive compared to what Gary is showing…and what we saw with Rashford earlier this season. Obviously it’s all dependent on the angle.

Maybe they bring in a mathematician who knows the angles, circumference of ball etc and they tell us if it was in :)

They ref on entertainment. They are under strict unofficial orders to keep it 11 v 11 until it is absolutely necessary to intervene.

It's starting to make football boring now tbh. I don't watch this game to debate referee decisions every 2 minutes. Just get rid of it.

Mind boggling how VAR deemed that Udogie’s tackle was just a yellow, and that they didn’t pick up Romero kicking a Chelsea player while down

Romero should be off once again.

What have Tottenham done to be like ManCity and Liverpool.

Correct decision. Rubbish tackle. Son should get yellow for crying at the ref as well.

Just kill VAR, this Chelsa v Spurs game is showing how stupid that system is. Doesn't add anything to the game.

Even when it is right, it is still shit.

The worst thing to be added to football in decades. Honestly, we have more discussion about VAR decisions than we used to have when we just relied on the ref's eyes. It's unbelievably shit.

Edit: oh and apparently we now have 57 minute halves...

Elbow in the head. No red. It would be different if it was ManUtd shirt involved.
