FA Cup 5th Round - 16th to 19th of Feb | Very Appalling Refereeing

All these city fans crying on talksport over the violent Wigan fans

Think this is the start of a proper rivalry

No complaints, we had a meltdown tonight. No excuses, given how we've been crying about tackles, Delphs was stupid, was it a red? was a close call but it was a stupid challenge on a nothing ball. Aguero had one of those games where he got wound up for nothing and spent more time mouthing and being a cnut than playing.

Dunno what happened with Sergio and that fan and our fanbase really letting themselves down. Bad night for us made to look worse by the behaviour of supporters and possibly Kun.

Zero excuses, Wigan worked hard, we were poor in front of goal and with our final ball. Well done Wigan. Fair play to Paul Cook post-match interview, really classy, some premier league managers, Pep included could learn from that.
Nice to read honesty from a City fan, some I know could benefit from a bit of honesty.
If I wore one I would doff my hat to you.

Lol. We are finding our form. We are not going to lose to Leicester.
A motivated Leicester are a tough team to beat. They dont have to worry about top 4 or the CL matches either.
The FA cup is all they have.

They'll also be at home.

That would be tough for anyone, not just Chelsea.

Maybe they need to send a couple of Wigan Warriors round to have a word with the City fans about trying to wreck their ground.

Aguero should be banned tbh

Wow aguero punched a fan. Lol that's atleast 15 games ban

Aguero with a 8 month ban I assume?

Surely a ban? I rewound it back and he immediately swings his arm at the fan. It doesn’t matter what that fan may have said you just can’t do that.

Well, Evra was banned for Marseille by the UEFA for doing something similar from November 2017 to June 2018.

So let's see what the FA will do.

Eric Cantona should have something to say about Aguero's punch. It wasn't as classy as his kungfu kick, but definitely deserves an 8 month ban regardless.

If the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

Did my usual not checking the score until full time. Wonderwall being played at full time was just the icing on the cake :lol::lol:

That's what you get for playing Claudio Bravo in a knockout match.

Whats this wonderwall? Feeling a bit out of context

Wondewall - Song by Oasis who are city fans, and started the "who the feck are man united" song to the tune of glory glory man united.

Also, Wigan's team was like a wall today, a wonderwall .

I don't understand how the BBC pundits can think the Delph tackle wasn't a red card? It was over the ball and studs showing at a ridiculous speed...it's as clear red as you can get these days.

Whilst I agree I think Evra's incident was far worse. Evra went up to a fan then tried to judo kick him. Aguero had a fan come up to him whilst on the pitch but even so you simply cannot react to it.

Imagine if United had reacted to being knocked out of the League Cup like City reacted to getting knocked out of the FA Cup. We'd probably get a full judge led public inquiry. Photos of our fans ripped from CCTV would be all over every newspaper website, accusing us of lacking respect for the police. Any player that went near a fan after the pitch invasion, which also happened at Bristol City, would be getting tarred and feathered by the press. Plus Mourinho would be getting castigated as the instigator who raised the temperature by going for the opposition manager at half time.

Its funny how things are when you're City. Funny how it is to be small. Funny how it is when your team means nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all...

It’s funny that a lot of fans, our own included, would accuse you of being paranoid even when everything you’ve said is true.
Can you imagine the inquisition Jose would have had to go through after last nights shenanigans?

Arsenal should be getting themselves pumped up for this. City don't like people mixing it with them.
They've been average away from the Emptyhad since the end of December only winning something like 4 out of their last 9 away from home. I think they might have Enochlophobia.

Thought Guardiola would go on a hour long critique about the dark arts of English football so his comments weren't too bad, accepted it was a red was a sensible thing to do given the way he was lecturing others on tackles.
Because of this he had no option.
