Cristiano Ronaldo | Transfer Speculation

So not only are we going to have our name banded around until he get what he wants from Madrid again, this could also really mess with the Morata transfer, great.
To make it worse, when he eventually would stay on at Real, media, rival club fans will all be laughing at Utd and fans saying we are crying our hearts out that he has ditched Utd again.

That isn't what he said, he was talking about R9 and not CR7. Dont feed the muppets

"The Special One took an obvious dig at CR7 by saying that he coached the "real" Ronaldo - as in the former superstar Brazilian forward - during his time as an assistant for the late Sir Bobby Robson at Barcelona.

"I was an assistant in big clubs and with big managers, coaching the best players in the world ... Ronaldo, not this one [Cristiano], the real one, the Brazilian Ronaldo."
That's a more recent quote. The one I posted was about CR7.

Yeah well that's just to be expected, this is all such unutterable bull though, & personally I'd be happy for us to just walk away from any dealings with Madrid this summer, we're not here to sort out their players issues & new contracts, whilst hoping they'll allow us to overpay for their substitutes.

Do they hate each other or did they just fight during his time at Madrid? I know there's stories of heated arguments but that doesn't mean they hate each other, players and managers can argue without it meaning the relationship is completely destroyed.

I'm not denying they they do I just want to know is there actually any evidence that they genuinely don't like each other?

From what I read in the media, they definitely had a strong dislike for each other during Mourinho's final Madrid year. I think Ronaldo, Ramos and a few others defended Casillas during the Mole-gate saga. Of course, things may have simmered down now.

True that. This guy is in ridiculous shape. Ferguson always said about Ronaldo that he didnt get to where he was on God given talent. Nobody works harder than he does every day. He's shockly fit.

In fairness to Rooney, those injuries early on didnt help him. Those broken foot aged 18 seemed to still bother him years later.

I don't begrudge Rooney to be honest. It's his life to live and he's already achieved a lot and he can do whatever he wants.

It is amusing seeing some people in here say, "I wouldn't take him" or "Is he good enough?"
He is the best player in the World and if he joined us would immediately by our best outfield player....by far. And while most of our attackers are incapable of scoring more than 5 league goals per season (ie. are crap), he can score 20+ league goals per season, without breaking a sweat.

In saying all of the above, he won't be leaving Madrid - the best team in the World - anytime soon.
CONTRACT RENEWAL TIME!!!

To be fair, very few people who say No have doubted his age or if he is good enough. Most people saying No are saying because
- He has a not so good past with our manager
- The media circus around him (from shoes to underwear) might be overwhelming
- The team has started a project under Jose. Building a team around Cristiano would mean starting again and then there is an issue of how everyone else would feel
- Do we have that kind of money to throw around one player.

In fairness, the project has one super massive flaw - no goalscorer, so I wouldn't say it would upset anything bringing the greatest goalscorer of his generation in.

Jose rang Ronaldo after the real Ronaldo thing and they made up. They don't hate each other

He is lazy, he doesn't track back, his work rate.

All of this was there to see in the final, still managed to put 2 past the best defense in football. Easily as well.

Where does it say that mate? Tried looking managed to find an article by dob balon who are wholly unreliable. :(

Really! I've always thought it stuffs on sky - they have some solid evidence!
Its a thing of the past. Sky is somewhere between the Sun and BBC. In ancient times, even Telegraph used to post reliable stuff. Now it has fake news even after silly season.

Fair enough. Now that you mention it, I generally look out for the Sky qualifiers - i.e. blah blah is reporting this is a tell tale sign that they know nothing.

One of thr best players ever.

But in the man's own words :'Manchester is in the past'

English is not his native language. You typically say stuff you don't mean trying to get a point across.
