Cristiano Ronaldo | Transfer Speculation

Mourinho and Ronaldo hate each other. Don't think this is a starter.
United loves Ronaldo, Ronaldo loves the United.

The United fans love Ronaldo, Ronaldo loves the United fans.

What more is there? even Mourinho isnt stupid enough to let a small dislike get in the way of a transfer like this.

How much will it cost to sign Ronaldo? And he is already 32yr old,lot to ponder.

You do tsay no to Ronaldo even if you are a strong character like Jose. And specially as a united manager, if the deal is within your financial power.

All that assuming he is leaving which i doubt

That isn't what he said, he was talking about R9 and not CR7. Dont feed the muppets

"The Special One took an obvious dig at CR7 by saying that he coached the "real" Ronaldo - as in the former superstar Brazilian forward - during his time as an assistant for the late Sir Bobby Robson at Barcelona.

"I was an assistant in big clubs and with big managers, coaching the best players in the world ... Ronaldo, not this one [Cristiano], the real one, the Brazilian Ronaldo."

If he actually leave I'll post a video of me eating my own shite

I reckon it would take around 4 or 5 years for Ronaldo to achieve the same numbers than Rooney

PS: My bad, forgot to take in consideration the 118 goals he already has for MU. 3y should be enough
If he comes back( don't think he will but for argument's sake let's say he's tempted), surely the prospect of being Man Utd's and Real Madrid's all time leading goalscorer has got to be too good to turn down. I mean being the leading goalscorer for the two biggest clubs in the world!! I don't think this is something that could ever be replicated for clubs of these magnitudes. A guy could come along who could win more Ballon D'Or than him but the odds of this ever being replicated would be very very short. That has got to be a temptation if he's serious about leaving.

Him leaving might look bad for Real but it might be better for them long-term. I can imagine getting Mbappe will be easier to sell to the youngster - come to us and become our new star.

As for where he might go if does leave, I have never read too much about why he doesn't get on well with Mourinho but seeing as Mou likes his team spirit and hard work, I can see why he might not be keen on bringing someone who, by all accounts, is bigger than the club.

I think he's most likely to end up at PSG - can win a league title in a different country, they can pay his obscene wages and still give him a good chance at winning the CL with 3 different clubs. Sounds like an easy choice for him.

Not to stir up controversy, but every football fan not living under a rock are hearing about the exorbitant prices being bid for Mbappe in the newspapers and Real Madrid, being the most probable destination for him, are certain to pay a huge amount of fee to get him from Monaco(more than 100 million euros).
Could it be that Cristiano has realized that this is his last chance to leave a lasting impression in the Transfer Market, since his value will start declining soon. If he leaves Madrid, he will for certain not only break the current record but also, he will fetch more than Mbappe for sure and ensure that his transfer record, just like his goal records won't be overtaken quite easily.
With the size of the ego he has, he could just be using this tax controversy as an excuse to ensure the above scenario.

The reason he wont go to China NOW is the fact that he is still competing for the Ballon d'or with Messi. If he goes to China and even if he scores 100 goals I dont think he will get it just cause he aint competing in Europe. His ego wont sit well with that. Maybe three years down the road? Maybe for that one last paycheck.
I'd of said the same thing about Ibra but he looks set to move to the US despite still being in great shape and as shown last season still able to mix it with the best. So anything is possible in football.

That being said i agree he'll staying Europe but there is literally only United who could afford him maybe PSG if they completely ignore FFP which will likely result in CL expulsion as a serious second offense.

1) Don't Mou and CR hate each other?

2) Clearly a ploy to increase his pay to 80-100 millions a year. He won't leave.

Zlatan is 36. He is looking for that one last paycheck plus a chance to impress in other countries. He wants to prove himself everywhere. Ronaldo is 31 and isnt like that.

he is 26 in relative terms due to no alcohol + him taking care of his body. Wayne by same metric is 39.
True that. This guy is in ridiculous shape. Ferguson always said about Ronaldo that he didnt get to where he was on God given talent. Nobody works harder than he does every day. He's shockly fit.

In fairness to Rooney, those injuries early on didnt help him. Those broken foot aged 18 seemed to still bother him years later.

So a static superstar leaves and another static superstar comes.. Sounds a plan..

Do they hate each other or did they just fight during his time at Madrid? I know there's stories of heated arguments but that doesn't mean they hate each other, players and managers can argue without it meaning the relationship is completely destroyed.

I'm not denying they they do I just want to know is there actually any evidence that they genuinely don't like each other?

I like how he's done this on a Friday for full effect.

Madrid management is like "Legal, Finance, Risk, Audit, Marketing, IT, Fax departments, sorry but you're in over the whole weekend, we'll get pizzas in."

He is favorite to win the Ballon D'or at age 32 and some people call him "static".

He is a bit static to be fair, how many years has he spent on that Ballon D'or podium?

I dont think any of them will have anything to do. Its between Perez, Mendes and Ronaldo.

Sporting Lisbon can't afford him..

We would have to sell our stadium, our academy, our football team. We would play with Ronaldo and 10 youth players in a random university of Lisbon pitch

So not only are we going to have our name banded around until he get what he wants from Madrid again, this could also really mess with the Morata transfer, great.
