Three in a row!Manchester United's domestic dominance reigned supreme in 2000-01 as they stormed to a record third Premiership title in a row. The Red's march to the championship was relentless from the very first day of the campaign as they kept a firm grip on the prize which has hardly left the Old Trafford trophy cabinet in the last nine years.Sadly United's European fortunes were to be less memorable as they fell at the quarter-finals hurdle again, this time losing to eventual Champions Bayern Munich who exacted some small revenge for that famous night in Barcelona two years earlier. The Red's return to the FA Cup was also to end in disappointment as West Ham produced the shock of the season by winning at Old Trafford with a bizarre goal from Paolo Di Canio. Overall, however, those two failures did little to take the gloss off another superb Premiership season for Manchester United. 2000-01 Season Review
